  1. if we drafted Nylander would he stay playing in Sweden or would he come play in the OHL or AHL
  2. @ksniper88 Benning wants Reinhart eh(question mark)
  3. is there any Sam Reinhart interview post yet
  4. Fleury said hes a huge Oilers fan. Maybe if Ekblad is gone before 3 they might take Fleury
  5. Virtanen looks so comfortable talking to all the teams.
  6. Benning will trade up or trade down. He won't pick at 6 quote me
  7. I can see the canucks taking Nylander for some reason. Cant wait tell the combine to get his official size and weight. I can see him playing in 3 years time in the Nhl. The Sedins are perfect role models for him. Although id prefer Ritchie or Virtanen Honestly I see Sam Bennett falling to us. 1. Ekbald 2. Reinhart 3. Drasatil 4. Ritchie or Virtanen 5 MDC or Ehlers 6. Bennett
  8. Tampa has a lot of great young prospects. but not familiar with them so cant make a proposal Detroit Mantha 2nd 2014?? 2 much ? Colorado Ryan O'Reilly Buy we add our 2nd round pick Ana Etem, Theodore, 1st (10th) Pitts - Pouliot, 1st,bennet To me id go with the Col(O'Reilly fills the whole as are 2nd line center and will be great for years to come) or Ana(cause we can take Virtanen at 10 cause of this injury)
  9. IMO people have to think do they want to get push around in the playoffs in years to come. I don't want to which is why Linden and Benning wont choose Ehlers and Nylander. There small and will get absoulutaly crushed in the western conference. It comes down to Ritchie and Virtanen If people want a tough guy and pure goal scorer Virtanen is your guy You want a mean in your face guy that can still chip in Offensively (Lucic not as mean and probably wont score 60 points but can play that type of game)
  10. It comes down to Ritchie or Virtanen Best shot in the draft(Virtanen) vs best PF in the draft(Ritchie)
  11. My order would be 1) one of the top 5 fall 2) Ritchie 3) Virtanen
  12. I hope he becomes are GM asap so we can draft goof and hire and good coach
  13. Took me awhile to read but overall Jake Virtanen seems to be the best out of all of them. He's got everything. He's willing to compete and his defensive game is much better than I thought according to the numbers. I think having someone cocky or enthusiastic on there team like Shinkaruk, will be good for the team. Those types of guys flurish in the playoffs . With 6th overall pick my order is 1) Virtanen 2)Ritchie 3)Ehlers 4)Nylander
  14. I'm ok with this but. Torts did well with Kassian and Jensen. He is the right coach for building a young team. He shows you how to play the right way (how you have to compete in the league). Unfortunaly he does some things I disagree with 1) Sedin's on PK 2)Kassian (3rd line, for the most part) 3)Edler playing a lot 3) Chip puck in and chase it 4) playing Kesler and Sedin's almost 22 mins a night 5) shot blocking to some degree Thing I agreed with 1) Having Sestito on PP Torts is a great coach the problem is the Canucks don't want to play hard, grind it out every night boring hockey like torts wants them to. This team isn't built for it. But what they don't relize is that's how you win. Look at LA. When Benning comes in I hope he's not Afraid to trade players with NTC. I'd like to see this team in 2014-2015 D.Sedin-H.Sedin-Jensen ______-Santorelli-Kassian Higgins-Horvat-Burrows Matthias-Richardson-Sestito Hamhuis-______ Garrison-Tanev Stanton-Bieksa Lack __________ As you can see Kesler, Hansen and Edler are all traded
  15. Imagine we get Benning as GM and San Jose loses tonight and they fired Todd(and we end up getting him as coach) good god id shit my pants
  16. Kesler passes the puck a lot. he got 50 assists. The reason Kesler gets not many assists is hes playing with Higgins and Hansen plus NO ONE ON THE TEAM CAN FINISH WITH THE PUCK BUT HIM.
  17. my order with the 6 overall pick 1) anyone that falls from the top 5 2)Nick Ritchie (if we draft him we dont need to worry about size in the next 2-3 years) 3) Jake Virtanen ( Skill can't be taught, defence and sharing the puck can. Beast at 17 (he's a brick) A side note i wouldnt mind Carolina's pick at 7 as well having the 6th and 7th pick be crazy Ritchie and Virtanen (WOW)
  18. If the Canucks draft Ritchie. How long before he makes the jump? I'd say 1 year and then bring him up. Pointless leaving him in the OHL Ritchie-Santroelli-Kassian
  19. If MDC and the Draisatil are gone at the pick i say draft Nick Ritchie Ritchie-Gaunce-Kassian Size, Grit, and offense BEAST MODE
  20. None of them will fall outside
  21. if the top five are gone take him. he is almost 6'0 which isnt that short. Surprised Brenden Gallagher hasnt been brought up in this thread. Obvs Ehlers has way better skill but they play a hard fought game and will go to the dirty areas to score goals
  22. If Ehlers is 170-175 and the top 5 are taken Ekblad,Reinhart,Bennett,Draisatil and MDC I say take the chance on Ehlers he is close to 6' feet I think. If he ends up being 6'0 or 6'1 185-190 we have a steal in him
