  1. and also written like a grade school essay.
  2. Posp gone and it looks like Genie not far behind..having trouble with her 1st round unseeded opponent. straight set loss..6-4...6-4
  3. Tim Brown cut yesterday was surprising..special teams player of the year a few back and always great on returns..strange they couldnt get a trade for him..guess they are going with Antolin on special teams and back up/import RB.
  4. Good outlook.. I have to agree ... I really like Samaradja ,, I was hoping they got him before he was traded last year...the Jays have to make some moves soon or this season is a write off..I cant imagine how the new guys such as Donaldson and Martin are handling the losing atmosphere.
  5. The third picture down in this set is funny...that was a huge hit by Virt and half the people in the stands behind arent even watching the play and none are smiling..not a happy looking group and that was early in the game.lol
  6. They have to fire someone here..this is ridiculous ..it goes on every year..game after game..pure futility....if you had told me I would be watching the Jays field a team starting Tolleson..Goins. Colobello and Valencia ..I wouldnt have believed you....and everyday they send a pitcher down and bring up another loser..enough already..I am almost done with this team ..Gibbons should be gone by the end of the week and they will probably let one of the coaches take over for the rest of the year..typical lowball Rogers crap....but more needs to be done IMO.
  7. Im beginning to think maybe its what they need to do..get rid off EE and JBats for some NOW pitching help..enough is enough..I love Donaldson and Travis....those 2 boppers may not be missed.
  8. Kah has to go..what a waste of roster....Caps will not score today against Seattles wall....after this impending loss...Seattle will be 1 point back....and where is Rivero?
  9. Im actually becoming a Pillar fan..it never was a talent thing with me..it was his attitude and if he has put it all behind..Ill be his biggest backer..I think one of the reasons was also I was/am a huge Rasmus fan and I felt he was pushing Colby out..but I think it was alot to do with the Jays knowing they werent going to resign him.
  10. Thats fair and I hope he turned that corner..he is actually very lucky he is still on the team...and I agree..he will go through a wall for a play..I just hope its for the team.
  11. from TSNs Scott McArthur.... It's not exactly clear what Gibbons is referring to when he says Encarnacion is "banged up." Few players are in perfect health at this time of year. Encarnacion did miss considerable time in spring training with a back strain. "Feeling good; it's feeling good," said Encarnacion. He did labour down the first base line in the second inning of Friday night's game. Encarnacion hit a chopper which deflected off pitcher Dallas Keuchel's glove toward shortstop Marwin Gonzalez. Gonzalez had time to change course, field the ball on a clean hop and throw across the diamond for the easy out. Whether it's frustration or caution, Encarnacion rarely runs full speed to first base on groundballs. It's been particularly noticeable since he tore his quad on a close play at first early last July in Oakland. He missed more than a month of action as the Jays careened out of first place in the AL East and fell too far behind in the wild card chase. If it was up to Encarnacion, he'd been playing. "He told me (Friday) night he was going to give me a day off," said Encarnacion. "Okay, he's the manager."
  12. Now Gibbons is pissing off EE by sitting him..I dont get this guys thinking...Jays are shaping up to be a major dissaster...oh...and I wasnt a Pillar fan because of his attitude last year..Im slow to come around..I understand he is playing well..maybe not so much now...but it takes me time, I just dont flip a switch and love the guy.
  13. I agree,,time to get rid of some of the glut at striker and turn it into some mid/back players..I almost think Mattocks should go as well.....that lineup they played in Edmonton was atrocious,....what is the Canadian championship...something to play second and third stringers...I just dont get this thinking...dont you play your best every night except for the odd rest???
  14. I even have a microwave oven...I havent figured out how to fry eggs in it yet. oh...growing up we had rabbit ears..my Mom and Dad would stand me in the corner with a coat hanger and hook it to the TV...we graduated to having an aeriel on our roof...I hated it when it rained.
  15. So everyone figures I am drunk...well all you nards may be right..I got into the wine just for the fight and wasted it because Mayweather won...those of you that like Mayweather I have no words to describe my ambivalence to your choice of fighter...I am so mad I could spit and post my picture....
  16. Now today..they kicked butt...unreal...the jeykl and hyde of baseball...Pillar who isnt my favourite...is on pace right now to be a run away leader for the allstar team..he is hitting..fielding and doing the right things...right now I would say he is the best player in Major League ball
  17. Whitecap scheduling is really horrible..I agree..these arent the only occasions ..but I must say this Kah guy has to go...what a crap player..he is so borderline on every play. edit-- the more I watch Rivero... the more he doesnt contribute much to the play..granted he has 5 goals..but lately he looks useless
  18. PAC-MAN..kick that wife beaters ass

  19. Without Pillar.Donaldson and Travis this team would be hard to watch...the pitching is brutal once again and when the pitching actually is good..they cant hit, they are off to an atrocious start..say goodbye AA and Gibbons. What a bunch of scrambling going on..this really doesnt instill much confidence in the young guys....the pitching is the real problem here..as for Pompey..I guess with Saunders back he is better off playing full time..someone would have to sit with Joey Bats back in the lineup.... TORONTO - The Toronto Blue Jays announced Saturday they've selected the contracts of pitcher Scott Copeland and outfielder Ezequiel Carrera from triple-A Buffalo. The Blue Jays also optioned left-hander Andrew Albers of North Battleford, Sask., and outfielder Dalton Pompey, a native of Mississauga, Ont., to Buffalo. To make room on the 40-man roster, Toronto designated right-hander Matt West and infielder Andy Wilkins for assignment. Copeland, 27, was 2-1 this season with Buffalo with a 1.44 earned-run average over 25 innings pitched. He allowed 13 hits with 13 strikeouts and just two walks. Carrera, 27, hit .325 in 21 games with Buffalo this year. Pompey was Toronto's starting centre-fielder to open the season but hit just .193 over 23 games and also struggled defensively.
