  1. cant stand that littler Bas%^$d Pedroia..he is like herpes..he just wont go away.
  2. yep..cant score any runs..cant get a hit and throw it into the relievers hands and hope they can hold them...Sox will probably tie it up now.
  3. Its Gibbons...everyone has to play...not great thinking when you are in a dog fight for the playoffs...I knew Saunders wouldnt be in today...fully expected Carrera to play..
  4. If the Jays dont start tacking on some runs they may lose again.
  5. Travis is a hitting machine..Donaldson lately is a non hitting machine.
  6. He looked like a DL instead of a reciever...
  7. as it stands right now the Sox are a better team and unless things drastically change for the Jays they may have to take the wild card root...if at all.
  8. Say what you want about Saunders but he never looked that bad in LF.
  9. yes..its good stuff for sure..I put Donald Fagan in eclectic because I actually think he is...lol...love all their stuff....Countdown to Ecstasy was one of my favorite LPs by them back in the day......
  10. Noticing alot of boos today as well...the fans are feeling like us.
  11. Plus they are facing Porcello...the probable CY winner..chalk this one up as a loss early..unless they show something they havent in ages.
  12. the pitching is brutal...and now Loup comes in...this game will end up a rout.
  13. Jays are just flat out painful to watch lately...keep this up and they will be well out of the playoffs....its getting to that point now.
  14. As a bagpiper, I play many gigs. Recently I was asked by a funeral director to play at a graveside service for a homeless man. He had no family or friends, so the service was to be at a pauper's cemetery in the Nova Scotia back country. As I was not familiar with the backwoods, I got lost and, being a typical man, I didn't stop for directions. I finally arrived an hour late and saw the funeral guy had evidently gone and the hearse was nowhere in sight. There were only the diggers and crew left and they were eating lunch. I felt badly and apologized to the men for being late. I went to the side of the grave and looked down and the vault lid was already in place. I didn't know what else to do, so I started to play. The workers put down their lunches and began to gather around. I played out my heart and soul for this man with no family and friends. I played like I've never played before for this homeless man. And as I played "Amazing Grace", the workers began to weep. They wept, I wept, we all wept together. When I finished, I packed up my bagpipes and started for my car. Though my head was hung low, my heart was full. As I opened the door to my car, I heard one of the workers say, "I never seen anything like that before, and I've been putting in septic tanks for twenty years."
