  3. A retiree and his aged wife started having problems in remembering, so they decided to go to their doctor to get checked out to make sure nothing was wrong with them. When they arrived at the doctor's, they explained to the doctor about the problems they were having with their memory. After checking the couple out, the doctor tells them that they were physically okay but might want to start writing things down and make notes to help them remember things. The couple thanked the doctor and left. Later that night while watching TV, the wife got up from her chair and her retired husband asks "Where are you going?" She replies "To the kitchen". He asks "Will you get me a bowl of ice cream?" She replies "Sure". He then asks "Don't you think you should write it down so you can remember it?" She says "No, I can remember that". He then says "Well, I also would like some strawberries on top. You had better write that down cause I know you'll forget that". She says "I can remember that, you want a bowl of ice cream with strawberries". He replies "Well, I also would like whip cream on top. I know you will forget that so you better write it down". With irritation in her voice, she says "I don't need to write that down, I can remember that!" She then fumes into the kitchen. After about 20 minutes she returns from the kitchen and hands him a plate of bacon and eggs. He stares at the plate for a moment and says "You forgot my toast!"
  4. isw there any new info on this other than what has been posted?
  5. If it is they should both grow up...the team is bigger than both of them...and its niethers team..to much experience on the Jays for that...if they cant solve it...it needs to be addressed or someone gets move....crap like this is a cancer.
  6. The Blue Jays will be wearing all-red jerseys every Sunday © The Toronto Blue Jays have revealed some brand new alternate jerseys to be worn on Sundays in the 2017 season, which are completely red. Yes, the Blue Jays will have absolutely no blue in their jerseys every seventh day of the week.
  7. of course not...they are scouring the Pampas and Llanos looking for that cheap South American nugget.
  8. Hope you made it through Monday......some days are like an old chunk of coal....but sooner or later that old chunk of coal becomes a diamond.
  9. That deal sucked...Im glad it fell through..finally some sort of brain was used with prospects in mind...giving up Guerro would of been insane....yes...the Jays players went to bat for Bats..Pillar and Travis said as much in Regina the other day.. I didnt really want Bats back and it wasnt because of talent..it was his mouth and attitude that got to me...but Im sure he will bounce back from last year..team is looking competitive now..throw in Navarro and a BP arm....we should be good to go.
  10. yep..I guess its almost done... After two months of waiting, Jose Bautista is getting closer to going back to the only place he wanted to be. The 36-year-old slugger is deep into discussions to return to Toronto, where he resurrected his career and hopes to revitalize it after his toughest season since his 2010 breakout, sources familiar with the talks told Yahoo Sports. The sides are focusing on a two-year deal that would guarantee him close to $40 million, though multiple iterations of an agreement have been bandied about, including a one-year contract. MLB.com first reported the sides were working on a deal.
  11. Iginla and McLeod..team mates one day...fighting the next..I guess we know who Iggy didnt like on the Avs....

Nah, Iginla just didn't want to stand idly by while Cody $&!# disturbed for his new team at the expense of the Avs.

Iggy was always a good scrapper and backed it up with great play.

Thanks!  I just woke up.  Who knew that working 10+ hours per day and having a glass of Dry Riesling would make me so tired that I slept in.  I have the game on right now to see who wins.

Oh and trust me, I don't think anyone would want me at a bar drinking my wine or champagne eating dessert and asking questions.

And btw, I just learned from seeing it, that a touchdown scores many points.

That others may be souring with their drinks later on.

And that some of those Seahawks players are really good looking at their press conferences.  I learned that a month ago.

  13. I totally agree...and people being in their right mind it would of happened....kinda like I would of taken Ehlers over Virtanen...shhhhssh
  14. Ill; agree...Pillar can help...he is a pretty good payer...I wont argue about it considering I have been watching the Jay since I was about 15....I must admit I was an Expo fan first but when they went to Washington I lost it....I am a true blue Jay and have been there for all their glory.....but always an Expo first...when I was a DJ I interviewed Dan Turner about the Expos...he wrote a book called "Expos Inside and Out"...
  15. kevin pillar is a wonderful fielder...if he was a wonderful fielder and hitter he would be invaluable..his hitting isnt very good ..passable...maybe...but not standout..he has alot of upside...barney is who I would keep over Goins...I dont want to go though another year like last year with those 2 fighting it out to play...Goins...alll glove ..no stick....at least Barney can go on a run....
  16. I think Liriano could replace Stro easily...trade him for Blackmon.......we need a quality reliever...but they did resign Floyd who I actually like until he fracked his arm up.....we need a backup Catcher...I have a feel that it might be Navarro again and that would be fine with me ....if they resign Bats...I wont feel bad at all...I really believe we could be in the mix....REQUEST>>>>Lets not rehash constantly the loss of EE...its getting sickening and he is gone...thanks..<<<<
  17. so good...I also love Gilmour here....super video and great tune...
  18. Travis was backup...lol. Funny it wouldnt open...it was telling what they said abot Bats as well..they all want him back..he is the ultimate team guy to most of them.
  19. Pillar and Travis doing the weather in Regina...lol... http://www.tsn.ca/mlb/video/must-see-travis-pillar-crash-ctv-regina~1034840
