Numbers don't change the fact he is a slow skater, gives away the puck at least once a game, and rarely hits the net. I would like to see the stat for how many shots he has taken and how many of those have actually been on target/translated into goals. My guess is he rates quite poor. Obviously he won't be bought out, but trading is not out of the question if he accepts it.

Come on man Daniel is still a decent player, he's just not worth the 7 million anymore which is why people resent him. He did have a nice assist on Kesler's goal last game though.

People had hope then, it has pretty much fizzled out now. I think even management can finally see this team isn't going anywhere without major changes. Not only to the coaching staff but the players as well.

Garrison will not be bought out, anyone suggesting that is crazy. There's no reason (besides the NTC) that we couldn't trade him anyway, he's not awful. As for Hamhuis he's solid most games, and Bieksa is a leader. Could they improve, of course, but if anyone is to go Edler and Garrison should be at the top of that list IMO.

This has nothing to do with the Sedins. Sure the whole team is having a poor year but that doesn't automatically excuse the obvious. Garrison constantly misses the net, when he does hit it it's usually in the crest of the goalie. He isn't a very fast skater, I have seen him beat to the puck several times leading to a 2 on 1 or a breakaway. He's not worth what is being paid for him, I don't understand why Gillis gives such long contracts with NTC's to so many players, where if it doesn't work out there's not much that can be done about it.

Lu is by far the best goalie we have at our disposal, show him the proper respect. Lack is good but not good enough to carry this team yet.

Your posts are always so negative. This team isn't that bad, and the Sedins are usually good for at least a point per game. Lots of talent on this team, just need a few more pieces which will hopefully come next year.

They got their reputation for being a dirty team, from the cheap hits by several of their top guys, to the constant diving, to their staff denying all of it. So no, it's not just Marchand that is the problem.
