D Petey may not be a high end prospect but he is prob as high end as others you’ve listed

Everyone seems to have slotted in Reinbacher to AZ but history proves things don’t usually go as predicted

I agree with these 3. Everyone is so hung up on the theory that the Canucks are high on Danielson but a few of the players they took out for dinner they could have been in case of a trade down situation

In that Alvin interview today he kind of slips up and mentions 2 players his scouts are excited about picking at 11 ( quickly changes his wording to a handful of players) my guess is Benson and Willander but Simashev is a wildcard and I don’t have a good read on Wood

Why wouldn’t you just have surgery earlier ?

Consentino has some of the worst takes. He didn’t even know the draft order in one the last radio hits I heard. Take what he says with a grain of salt. If you have regular viewings of a guy your just as likely not to draft him because your more aware of his faults

What are your consensus rankings based on ? Season rankings or just the latest rankings ?

I’ve listened to as many mock drafts as possible from teams in the top ten perspective and I’m fairly confident the top 8 will be these players not in order: Bedard Smith Reinbacher Mitchkov Leonard Carlson Dvorsky Fantilli 9-10 Names you see Willander ASP, Moore, Honzek, Wood Danielson Benson is usually the odd man out so I’m guessing he’s available . There is also a good chance that at 11 4 of the 5 players they took for dinner will be available ensuring that if they trade down to 15 one will be available ( not including Simashev )

If you dropped Benson into last years draft would he get 1st overall consideration ?

I’m thinking Benson will be available and either a) the Canucks select him b) Nashville is interested and pays up : to Van: 15th overall 47th overall Cal Foote to Nash: 11th Overall Connor Garland

if they want Leonard they are prob only looking to drop a couple spots

Maybe Montreal wants Dubois but doesn’t want to trade the 5th for him but would trade the 11th. they would get their center they would b selecting at 5 regardless and a haul to move up that many spots it would probably have to include 11, next years first and Podkolzin
