      OR maybe he shouldn't have built up an argument on the backs of the dead. Using tragedy to make a political statement is one thing when what you're arguing for or against could have directly effected said tragedy. 

       

      It's another thing entirely to use a completely random and unavoidable tragedy in order to push ones own agenda.

      How was the tragedy unavoidable? Installing a lightning rod or more trees would have saved those people. In fact from what I have been reading in the article, lightning strikes aren't uncommon this time of the year. So one has to wonder why this church did not take precautions. My guess is because they thought that their faith would protect them.

      Kind of says it all. There are a glut of other, more likely reasons as to why a lightning rod wasn't installed, but of course you gravitate towards "Well, it was obviously their faith that killed them."

       

      On a side note, the administrators have the right to run this site however they see fit.
