Any ideas on what to do if the power goes out during this snowstorm? I have sick and elderly people living with me, and since I work graveyard shifts, I'm gone most nights. Kinda worried.
Our house is old and isn't well insulated at all, and as I said before, I have sick people living there as well. Don't know why "Suck it up, it's not that cold" is the hill you'd want to die on.
I'm not saying suck it up, I was saying they is no imminent danger if a house can stay +14 in -30 it should (even if old) hold a safe temperature until power can be restored. the only risk you would have is if the sick people in your house depend on a machine that needs power to keep them safe.
