  1. https://streamable.com/nw09h6 Looking back, it's easy to see it's an ankle.
  2. Looks like they're arriving. Wonder when they snuck their media interviews in? I'm guessing from Montreal.
  3. Bye, Tanner; Been a slice..........
  4. It does. I'm sure that is not the case though. I have watched as much tape of that last game as I can find. He took two big cross checks to his upper back. Right on the shoulder blades. That could stay stiff for a very long time. Guessing though.
  5. Late, actually and they play the Oilers tonight. So they'll be hooped and we will destroy them. A real mugging. 5-2 Canucks.
  6. Guess this isn't the time or place to say positivity. I'll do it anyway. Go Canucks go! Bring the high and mighty down.
  7. Haven't like the inconsistency in Virtanen's game for years. Sometimes it looks like he could care less but Heinen's game has never, (at any level) had any obstinance. Something our team could do with more of. Not talking about all Roussel's ill advised attempts at it.
  8. and their development is slower then molasses on a frigid day. Soft and slow; Not a mix for success.. The Travis interviews tell all...
  9. Not a fan of Juolevi sitting for Hamonic. Olli had been growing as a player and getting to know the league. Too bad! I'm sure Horvat will get along great with Virtanen.
  10. The drafting under Jim Benning has been more hit then miss. I'm fine with trading Virtanen for a pick. A second or even a third. If you can do better then by all means do so. When you cannot count on any sort of consistency or reliability from a player, yet your hoping you will every time you throw him in, it's an enigma. Bye; Jake!
  11. I do believe Mr. Virtanen is getting chubbier. Is there still hope? Really beginning to see him in a different jersey. The sooner the better..
  12. I take a little bit of an issue with this. Was he truly a good fit here? He was solid when he arrived and put up some points, but the team was in freefall at that point and his production didn't exactly help us pile up the wins. FFW to the playoffs and he hets injured early, comes back and has one great game, then goes completely silent for the next handful of games against Vegas, and we're ultimately eliminated. All in all he really didn't do much to help the cause in the long run.
  13. Would have been nice to move him last year when the iron was still hot, but of course when a player is playing well nobody wants to trade him. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
  14. I'm somewhat out of the loop. How are they Nazis now? Are they like full on actual Nazi Nazis or "somewhat conservative so we'll just call them Nazis" Nazis?
  15. At this point I'd make this deal. I'm relatively confident in how our top six is coming together, so moving Jake for a young player who could provide some grit to our bottom six and give us another option at center is something that appeals to me. Would allow us to move Gaudette to wing full time as well.
  16. Don't poke the bear. He's the type of dude that would still dump on Boes even if he were leading the league in goals
