  1. It won't. I have better $&!# to do, like watching TV or Youtube videos. That being said, I'm pretty Libertarian in my beliefs, so I'm all for legalizing it. Doesn't mean I have to like weed culture though. Annoying as &^@#.
  2. Youtube is working again!!!!

I was watching some music videos when it began to crap out.  I wonder what happened.

  4. It's weird agreeing with you. I feel kinda dirty.
  5. So you're implying that I'm not worried about his health because I'm also annoyed that this is going to feed the idiotic narrative that he isn't "big enough" for the NHL? The natural extension of your logic is that nobody should be playing in the NHL because, regardless of age/size/etc..., there will always be health concerns in the NHL. I wonder how EP, with his 8 points in 5 games and his over 50% FO percentage, feels about that narrative.
  6. The crappy thing is that this unfortunately gives fuel to the "He's too small for the NHL crowd", despite the fact that it was an illegal take down that's likely going to be suspended. It's like saying "He's not tough enough for the NHL" after a player is punched in the back of the head and ends up with a concussion.
  7. Brad May is an idiot wrapped in a dumbass.

The initial hit was fine.  The problem is the WWE choke-slam to the ice afterwards.  The puck was clearly gone, and the battle in the corner (between those two players) was clearly over.  The part that happened after was indeed an intent to injure another player.

Actually Brad, it's pretty obvious you can hit Pettersson like that and nobody will do a damn thing about it.

That's rich coming from May. He would be the first player on the ice (or bench for that matter) to go after Matheson if that hit happened to a teammate of his.

  8. I know it's hard, but any guesses on how long he'll be out?
  9. I should sign off for the night. Still fuming, and the "high roaders" certainly aren't helping (I do wonder what it's like to be an emotionless automaton). Looking at a ban if I stay logged on. Breathe....breathe...breathe....

  10. Turned the game off as soon as Pettersson went down. Call me a bad fan, but until I know he's OK it's gonna be hard for me to give a $&!# any more.

There's no reason that gutless waste of oxygen should be able to walk, let alone play hockey.  Ever again.

I can’t believe there was no pushback. He should be spitting teeth in a pool of his own blood!

  11. Eh, I still think it's in bad spirits to do that type of thing. Why stoop to the lowest common denominator, except to accentuate the divides on the board for arbitrary reasons?
  12. Not a fan of going back to a year and a half ago and highlighting people's emotional kneejerk reactions to a pick in an a very transparent attempt to undermine all future opinions of said person.
  13. So, who here expected Pettersson would be this good right out of the gate? Like, really? I expected him to be good, but I actually figured he would struggle a bit early on before eventually finding his game. Never in a million years did I think that he would not only be able to contribute in a big way from the get-go, but that he would acclimate the the smaller ice and the center position so incredibly fast. Really speaks to just what a phenom this kid is.
  14. I'm willing to bet they've been eating their words for quite a while already.
  15. I don't think this is really fair. It's easy to laugh at people when you have the gift of hindsight.
  16. Hey, remember when we were worried about Elias's faceoff percentage?
  17. There are no "realistic expectations" for this kid any more. He's already elite. He may already be one of the best players in the league.
