  1. Gonna run the simulator ten times, see what happens... 1st one time. 2nd one time. 3rd one time. 4th three times. 5th four times. Realistically, assuming we lose our last game, we're still probably picking 5th
  2. Is it unreal to suggest that Boeser could get 20 goals in his first full year? Dude is a special player.
  3. Tell a young player that he doesn't have balls through the media. That'll help with his confidence.

Then lose a faceoff and blow the coverage resulting in a 2-0 deficit before the player you threw under bus even takes a shift.  Bonus points awarded for not converting a nice feed from said player.

Again someone remind me when Sutter has displayed any testicular fortitude in a Canuck uniform.

I read he has more TOI than Malkin and will barely get 35 points. Cornerstone piece.

Could Sutter's public demeaning of a recent JB acquisition be cause to get himself traded?

  4. You seriously don't have Granlund or Tryamkin in your 2017 starting lineup? Not to mention Boucher?
  5. Rodin is still an unknown. Goldy has yet to prove anything. Juolevi won't make the parent club. Virtanen has yet to fully find his game at the AHL level, let alone at the NHL level.
  6. Next years team will be poor, regardless of whether or not Boeser is in the lineup. One player really won't make much of a difference. So if he's ready for the NHL, play the kid. Let him learn the NHL game.
  7. Assuming we finish outside the top 5, I'd rather move the pick for a center. Say, Reinhart.
  8. Shorty's call on Boeser's goal was fantastic.
  9. Fair enough, but by the same token, if he proves to be NHL ready, there's no reason to send him down.
  10. I have the feeling that much of CDC tends to over-season their food.

that explains why everyone always so miserable :3

  11. Can't wait to see what Bo, Bear, and Brock can do next season. Hopefully they stick it out as a line.
  12. I'm not too worried. Assets can be moved around. The main focus right now is acquiring good players and integrating them into the lineup. Once we get enough good players into the lineup, we can start wheeling and dealing to nab components (size/grit, etc...) that will put us over the top.
  13. No clue if he's eligible or not, but the dude is still only 23 and has really good offensive instincts. I'd hate to lose him.
  14. Damn. We're gonna lose Boucher to Vegas, aren't we?
  15. I agree with all of this. However, if his wrist is still bothering him, it kind of has to take precedence.
  16. Basically how I feel about it. If we burn off a year of his ELC, and he ends up being due for a big raise in a couple years, then that likely means he's done pretty well for himself. Personally, I feel that getting a look at the NHL game via some sheltered minutes could be very good for him, and give him an idea of what he needs to work on during the offseason. That being said, if his wrist is still bothering him, that changes things completely. Better to rest it if that's the case.
  17. Can't wait to see him in Canuck colors this season!
  18. Welp, guess who we get to see in a Canucks jersey this year....
  19. Offering to burn off a year of his entry level contract early might be a good way of coercing him to sign. At the end of the day, if he's due for a big raise after his entry level is up, that likely means he'd done pretty well. At this point I just want him to be signed.
  20. I imagine that half of CDC was secretly cheering when they heard Granlund was out.

Wrist is an easy spot to damage further.  If he needs surgery it's the right move.  Extra losses are a bonus.

I wasn't. His progression is more important than potentially picking a spot earlier.

Now because he was already injured, I am 100% happy.
