Had we managed to move Boeser for a good Dman or futures, or we had managed to move Myers, Dickinson or Poolman out, I doubt anyone would give a $&!# about Motte's return. But we didn't, so this is all we have to judge Allvin on.
I guess this is what happens when you have a meddlesome mobster owner that won't let the team rebuild properly because of the off chance of a little bit more playoff revenue, a geriatric president, and a management staff that's half "old boy's club" and half diversity hires.
