Some will definitely do that, but not all. It'll be interesting to see what it looks like when things are ready, because districts definitely don't want teachers in ICU. This is very true. Taking temperatures will not catch 100% of cases. I guess the thinking is if you can at least catch 25% of cases (admittedly pulling that number out of my rear), you might as well do it.

Those definitely will be the first people targeted. It'll start there, the students doing fine online will stay that way. I'd be shocked if it went past that before the end of June. In my reality, from check-ins I know most of my students (teenagers) are not social distancing so we would have to treat every student coming in as if they were contagious.

I think the propaganda the guy in the comments was referring to was that China was putting out misinformation saying the virus was much worse than it actually is so the Western Nations would shut down, leaving China open for business and dominating the world. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Russia in particular is loving the work that Trump is doing to destabilize things like the WHO, CDC, and his own nation.

Do people even think their conspiracy theories through? Covering up your own statistics is one thing, but to send out propaganda to hurt other economies? If China was caught doing that, say goodbye to all their trade deals, that would backfire so bad it wouldn't even be funny.

Oh, I'm sure there would be no shortage of people that would go...and most of them would have a certain red hat somewhere in their suitcase.

This is what it'll roughly look like to start. It isn't in an effort to get parents back to work, it's to reach out to vulnerable students. Things will have to be done carefully, especially the staff that work at the schools (lord knows most of my students haven't been ace social distancers by the sound of things). At my site, I get the sense that we'll schedule students in for short enough that they won't get antzy. Just get a quick hit of school so you can get a little bit more done at home, sanitize, and then repeat with the next group. We'll see though, it really is a day by day process and things could get dialed back very quickly.

Science isn't the solution to Covid-19, Capitalism and Freedom is!

Well, he was right about the virus disappearing by April so the stable genius must be right about this. #Covidiotinchief

That is true to. The spikes will come with increased activity. Just got make sure we keep them under control.

Kinda wonder if we'll see a few spikes like this over the next week or so due to people travelling around over the Easter long weekend.

In my district, the attention is getting put on vulnerable students. The students that if you have no personal contact with them from March to September, you may lose them for good. The students that are doing well online, there is a good chance they'll stay online. We'll see though, this will be done very slowly, very deliberately.

Motive plays a part in that. So while we all agree this is 100% terrorizing, I think the murders have to be done for a cause for it to be considered terrorism. It being labelled a terrorist attack doesn't make it any more or less tragic, but it would be good to know if this was a terrorist attack because then there is the possibility that he was put up to it by something or some group. And that you'd definitely want to know.

Teachers have to answer to district guidelines around the pandemic. Personally, I'm working 845 to 245 and then spend a lot of time outside of that answering emails, setting up assignments on Teams and marking.

It would do more bad things to the body than good. Just like ingesting isopropyl alcohol can cause bleeding in the digesting tract because it is killing cells along the way, so would inhaling aerosolized alcohol kill important lung cells. The ethanol does the same thing, just not as severely because it is way more dilute and I'd imagine it is harmful to things like the liver because that is where the alcohol becomes more concentrated in the body with lots of drinking over time.
-
I'd imagine this would go very bad. Alcohol kills all types of cells. The reason hand sanitizer doesn't screw up our hands horribly is because the outer layers of our skin is comprised of a lot of already dead skills cells.

Who knows with Civil War, but I can't see how those tweets aren't considered treasonous? He's literally advocating for the overthrow of the governments in those states. In my books that's treason.

Better than the flip side of that and knowing what wiping your butt with frozen pizza feels like.

Clearly ketchup doesn't matter, you've had one you've had them all. Barbecue sauce however...
