Careful what you wish for sometimes. You may be right, but if other examples of private insurance has taught me anything, premiums would be low, however, so would the odds of getting paid for a claim.

THE TORONTO RAPTORS HAVE WON THE NBA CHAMPIONSHIP
Wilbur replied to naslund.is.king's topic in Off-Topic General
Heh, let Golden State think that. Maybe they'll be complacent when/if KD and KT return. Bottom line, Raps don't need to apologize for being healthier. Staying healthy enough to win a championship is one of the hurdles a team has to overcome in order to win it all. -

Who'd a thunk that the Yankees would be just the team the Jays needed to get out of their funk. Liked the moxy they showed tonight. -

Just found this: So, not a disaster if they don't sign. Crisis averted. -

It's not so much the development curve that I worry about, it's the lure of going to college and getting a bigger pay day if they get picked higher a couple of years from now. For example, if someone like Kendall Williams thinks he can go in the first round after a year or two of college, he's probably better off not signing and going to college. This can easily backfire (like with an injury), but college life is probably better than Gulf Coast League life. Just hoping the Jays did their homework and are picking high school guys they know they can sign. It may take paying above slot to pay away those college years, but yeah, the higher ceiling could be worth it. -

Man, sure hope the Jays know what they're doing with all these guys. Sure hope they convince these kids to skip college or it'll be a wasted pick. (I don't think they get compensatory picks outside the first round do they?) -

Which makes me wonder if they'll be able to sign him. -
Heh, he should've been. Play driving from the backend is something this team has desperately missed since Ehrhoff.

Sounds like all that stuff will get moved over to their Music App, it shouldn't go anywhere.

I'd ask when is the Edwin Jackson experiment going to end but with the Jays apparently more than eager to trade Stroman, Sanchez, and Giles, I'm thinking 13-2 will be the norm this year. -
39 with 2 kids (5 and 7). We did acrylic pours on a canvas and we have them hung in the boys bathroom. They really tie the room together . I've also made a large amount of beaded flowers in the past (kept my hands buys while watching baseball. I started making them in all the NHL team colours, and I swear I'll finish that one day. My main hobby though is probably geocaching (will hit 2000 finds this summer). The boys really like it, it gets us out, and you really do see areas of the community that you otherwise may not.

If countries can't be environmentally friendly, then you can't buy from them. Otherwise it'll be another race to the bottom environmentally speaking and we'll ALL be worse off. Capitalism works great for a lot of things, but a fatal flaw of it that simply must be addressed is its lack of taking the environment into account. (and before this turns into a socialism/communism/etc debate, no, those ideologies don't do enough for the environment either) -

There is for San Diego, at this rate they have a chance a breaking TO's homerun record. -
I'm a fan of the heat too, but do not like Buffalo spice. Tastes rancid to me *shrug*

Okay, I know it's totally in a teams right to appeal a call, but when you're up 16-3 in the 8th inning and you appeal a call at first? Bad karma San Diego, bad karma. -

Gurriel with his 2nd home run in as many games since his call up. Nice.
