Ballad of Buster Scruggs. Coen Brothery Goodness/10 If you like the Coen Brothers you'll like this. If you don't, then you probably won't.
-
Of those 3, only Sissons was like Lind and played in the AHL in their D+2 year. That may alter some expectations.

Saw a quick thing on Sportsnet and it sounds like, with the family's input, Halladay won't be going in on any teams cap. -

Agreed. Even when his abilities were declining, you could never question his heart. -

Nice Big Read on SN with Ricky Romero penning a thank you letter to Toronto. https://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/toronto-blue-jays-ricky-romero-retirement/ -

Motte passed an interesting comparable. I know there is more to a 4th liner than points but that's a lot fewer games for Motte than Gaunce. 272. Tyler Motte C 60 8 7 15 273. Magnus Arvedson C 41 8 7 15 274. Brendan Gaunce C 117 6 9 15

Reports are that the Jays are paying 16-18 million of the 20 so I'm sure that makes it a little easier to pull the trigger. -
He was a fixture in the top 6 but was also brought in to be a defensively responsible part of the top 6. Believed he killed a lot of penalties, was out in the last minute etc. He made a lot of hay getting power play points with the Sedins. Baertschi is a different player (Samuelsson had a better shot, Baertschi has better hands), but I think Samuelsson is a player that Baertschi can look to and see if he can match that efficiency.
-
Baertschi's 2 goal performance sandwiches him between 2 interesting names. 81. Mikael Samuelsson RW 155 49 57 106 82. Sven Baertschi LW 209 55 50 105 83. Cam Neely RW 201 51 53 104

Let's see '67, Sittler's 10 point night, Don Cherry kissing Doug Gilmour, '67, a Wendal Clark beatdown and '67. Did I forget anything?
-
I'd say Ring of Honor.
-
Hey, 0 points would still get a number, Tied for 507th, but still a number
-
But but, what will Maple Leaf fans do at 7pm on a Saturday?
-
Ah, but how will these new found numbers translate to the NHL?
-
We'd also have the added fun of Pouliot and Del Zotto playing at the same time for a couple games. Woooo!
-
Seems to be producing at the same rate in LA as in Vancouver this year. Wonder if we'll see him back on waivers?
-
If I remember correctly, Pettersson's WJC's last year wasn't off the charts. The WJC can have less structure to it at times so I wouldn't worry too much.
