  1. With his assist last night Bo slipped past Cooke and into 38th in all-time Canuck scoring last night. 37. Curt Fraser LW 348 92 114 206 38. Bo Horvat C 347 89 114 203 39. Matt Cooke LW 566 83 120 203
  2. Ballad of Buster Scruggs. Coen Brothery Goodness/10 If you like the Coen Brothers you'll like this. If you don't, then you probably won't.
  3. Of those 3, only Sissons was like Lind and played in the AHL in their D+2 year. That may alter some expectations.
  4. Saw a quick thing on Sportsnet and it sounds like, with the family's input, Halladay won't be going in on any teams cap.
  5. Boeser up to 91st with his assist tonight 90. Chris Tanev D 436 20 76 96 91. Brock Boeser RW 109 49 45 94 92. Christian Ehrhoff D 159 28 66 94
  6. Boeser's 2 assist move him into a tie for 92nd in all-time Canuck scoring. 91. Christian Ehrhoff D 159 28 66 94 92. Brock Boeser RW 108 49 44 93 92. Taylor Pyatt LW 224 49 44 93
  7. Spector taking the Oilers Development of Puljujarvi to task in this article. https://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/oilers-puljujarvi-searching-answers-trade-rumours-swirl/ And the instruction manual on how to not get the most out of your top picks continues to be written by the Oilers.
  8. Bo now into 39th in all-time Canuck scoring with his 200 points. 38. Matt Cooke LW 566 83 120 203 39. Bo Horvat C 344 88 112 200 40. Kevin McCarthy D 352 51 148 199
  9. Agreed. Even when his abilities were declining, you could never question his heart.
  10. Nice Big Read on SN with Ricky Romero penning a thank you letter to Toronto. https://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/toronto-blue-jays-ricky-romero-retirement/
  11. Del Zotto leaves the organization sitting 224th in all-time Canuck scoring. Alright for a fill-in defenceman. 214. Larry Goodenough D 113 7 21 28 ... 217. Lukas Krajicek D 117 5 22 27 ... 219. Ryan Stanton D 118 4 23 27 ... 224. Michael Del Zotto D 105 7 19 26
  12. Ben Hutton into 116th in all-time Canuck scoring with his assist last night. 115. Gregg Boddy D 273 23 44 67 116. Ben Hutton D 253 11 56 67 117. Loui Eriksson RW 163 29 37 66
  13. Motte passed an interesting comparable. I know there is more to a 4th liner than points but that's a lot fewer games for Motte than Gaunce. 272. Tyler Motte C 60 8 7 15 273. Magnus Arvedson C 41 8 7 15 274. Brendan Gaunce C 117 6 9 15
  14. Boeser's empty netter bumps his slump and continues his ascent up the all-time Canuck scoring list. 97. Barry Wilkins D 276 21 69 90 98. Brock Boeser RW 105 48 41 89 99. Paulin Bordeleau RW 183 33 56 89
  15. Reports are that the Jays are paying 16-18 million of the 20 so I'm sure that makes it a little easier to pull the trigger.
  16. He was a fixture in the top 6 but was also brought in to be a defensively responsible part of the top 6. Believed he killed a lot of penalties, was out in the last minute etc. He made a lot of hay getting power play points with the Sedins. Baertschi is a different player (Samuelsson had a better shot, Baertschi has better hands), but I think Samuelsson is a player that Baertschi can look to and see if he can match that efficiency.
  17. Baertschi's 2 goal performance sandwiches him between 2 interesting names. 81. Mikael Samuelsson RW 155 49 57 106 82. Sven Baertschi LW 209 55 50 105 83. Cam Neely RW 201 51 53 104
  18. Let's see '67, Sittler's 10 point night, Don Cherry kissing Doug Gilmour, '67, a Wendal Clark beatdown and '67. Did I forget anything?
  19. Hey, 0 points would still get a number, Tied for 507th, but still a number
  20. But but, what will Maple Leaf fans do at 7pm on a Saturday?
  21. Ah, but how will these new found numbers translate to the NHL?
  22. We'd also have the added fun of Pouliot and Del Zotto playing at the same time for a couple games. Woooo!
  23. Seems to be producing at the same rate in LA as in Vancouver this year. Wonder if we'll see him back on waivers?
  24. If I remember correctly, Pettersson's WJC's last year wasn't off the charts. The WJC can have less structure to it at times so I wouldn't worry too much.
