Kassian must be watching how the Sedins play the boards. His board play has improved tremendously since the start of the season.

That jam play on the PP is one you HAVE to exploit if the PK is giving it to you. Good play by Daniel and Jensen to set up Weber.

The Sedins, Daniel in particular, aren't as good offensively as they used to be, but they have definitely upped their two-way game.

He's an ahole. He always, ALWAYS spins things in a negative light.

I thought Forty Creek was absolute trash. Then again, the product that we get here in the US could be wildly different from what it is Canada. In fact, I have yet to find a Canadian whiskey that didn't taste like garbage when it wasn't mixed with something to cover/dull the lack of flavor. Suggestions would be welcomed. I splurged a bit for some single malt tonight. Settled on a bottle of Laphroaig 10 and man, it was pretty damn awesome. Worth the money, but it can't be a regular purchase, either. He plays fourth line minutes plus PP. Last one to practice, last on the ice, first one off. Sure sounds like a guy trying to turn his game around...not.

In the beginning of the season if someone told me Kassian would have a chance at putting up 30 points while playing 13 minutes per game, I would have been ecstatic. Looks like he may just do that. Love what I've seen from Kass since the Olympics.

I often wonder if Randy Carlyle is actually conscious during the game. There is no way a sane human could watch the territorial massacre that goes on every night and think that your system emphasizing shot quality is working.

Unfortunately, his acceleration is limited by genetics. He can improve it, but he'll never have the first three steps of a Hansen, Kesler, or Jensen.

What series were you watching? I remember Boston thoroughly dominating play in every game only to have Reimer steal games. Game 6 in particular stands out. Boston played 8:30 of the last 10:00 in the Toronto end. Not exactly what I would call 'looking good.'

Just got back from work. It appears Kassian is having himself quite the game. Jensen looks good and I love what he's doing in drawing penalties.

Henrik Sedin looks a hell of a lot better than he did during his scoring drought but I'm not sure he's still 100%. Faceoffs are a problem, but his open play has been much better. Getting healthy and getting a winger with a shot like Jensen's has certainly helped. Kassian has one of his best games tonight. Good with the puck, throwing some hits, and NOT taking stupid penalties. Keep playing like that and he'll get his top 6 chance.

No, I've been paying attention. The crossed out statement was more for the people who think he needs to chuck fists and throw hits, when it fact he needs to play with the puck on his stick.

Jensen has an incredible wrister. Legit, top 15% of the NHL.

This may be the best full period of hockey I've ever seen Kassian play. THIS is what he needs to do more of, not the chasing hits, chirping, and taking stupid penalties Kassian.

Jensen's two way game is pretty solid.
