    The gain is mostly from learning a new motor pathway and adapting the strength you already have from squatting to a slightly different movement pattern. I hate front squats, primarily because the extremely closed knee angle and my right knee don't like each other.

    Very valid point. Cole Cassels is looking like an absolute steal. Of all the things Gillis has done, right AND wrong, by far his best stroke of genius has been getting ownership on board with the idea that the Canucks needed a farm team that they had complete control of. Just look what it's done for the development of Jensen, Grenier, and Archibald.

      ^He's the best pound for pound fighter many of us have seen play. A lot of us cannot really comment on the old guys (and a lot of the people that can comment on the old guys have an old guy bias).

    Jensen is a way better passer than he gets credit for. This kid can play.

    Then it was all about beating the piss out of the opponents with fists, instead of, you know, scoring goals and winning on the scoreboard.

    Trying his damnedest. The one positive of this slide is that the first line finally looks like a top caliber first line again. Daniel can kiss his shotgun seat on Henrik's line good bye if Jensen keeps up his play.

    Uhhh WHAT? The team was elite from 2009-2011 because of how good the Sedins were. Even at it's best, the Canucks were at most a 2.5 line team with the Sedins, Kesler, and the PP allowing the Canucks to just mow through the regular season.

    Jensen has been impressive. Danny's shotgun seat on Hank's line is getting harder to just 'give' him.

    Jensen's play is making the Booth buyout a no brainer. Another strong game from the Burr-Hank-Jensen line. If Danny isn't careful, he may lose his shotgun seat on Hank's line.

    He's one of the best 5 on 5 goal scorers in the OHL the last 3 years. His game is going to translate wonderfully to the NHL.

    This young man Jensen is going to be one hell of a player. I can't wait to see him with a fully healthy Henrik after another off season of training. I'm going to laugh so hard at all those in the "Jensen's a bust" and the "Sedins are done" campls when he pots 30+ and rejuvinates the Sedin line.

    They got buried in their zone again. It wasn't a comment on Edler, it was a comment on the fact that Edler-Bieksa is a tire fire together.
