Virtanen, McCann are all better than Sestito too. Corrado is better than Sbisa, put him on the bottom pairing? Because you don't give young players 4th line minutes, Kassian was on the 4th line last season and CDC was screaming at Torts but now with Horvat it's ok? I'm confused.
-
Shinkaruk can beat out Sestito why won't he make the team? I'm sure Jensen is better than Sestito why won't he make the team? Gaunce too? Because playing 4th line minutes on a 4th line is not how you develop first round picks. Hell that's not how you develop skilled prospects.
-
Then I wouldn't mind trading Horvat for a top 6 winger who can play in our top 6 if our wingers are lacking top 6 calibre players.
-
I mean't to say if he doesn't become more than 3rd liner then it's a fail pick. Otherwise I agree with the rest.
-
Domi is inconsistent but he has the ability to play all aspects of the offensive game. He can be a different type of player every shift but just needs to try and put it altogether.
-
In the NHL? He'll get opportunities on the PP probably when injuries come to the more skilled players but I can't see him becoming a regular top 6 forward in the regular season. If he's good enough for the 3rd line centre spot than put him there but don't start him on the 4th line playing like a usual 4th liner. Give him hard times to play, start him in the defensive zone and netural zones often and let's see where he is at. Nonetheless, a 3rd liner is a fail pick for a top 10 pick. He'll be on the 3rd line spot because he isn't good enough offensively to be top 6. Still developing though.

This year when I watched him, he made mistakes but more often than not he was in position. He was on his man, he backchecked and skated down to the defensive zone when he had to. If you don't believe me talk to these scouting reports: http://www.defendingbigd.com/2013/6/10/4405022/max-domi-scouting-report-2013-nhl-draft-profile http://lastwordonsports.com/2013/04/22/max-domi-2013-nhl-draft-player-profile-13/

I've seen lineups looking like: ________, McCann, Horvat, Gaunce. Horvat as the 3C, not that's not right. Horvat should become a 2nd line player, management shouldn't have a goal of Horvat to become a 3C nor should any other fan IMO. He's a top 10 pick! Starting on the 4th line or wing makes no sense. He's a centre, we drafted him because he's a 200 foot centre. Moving him back to centre after wing makes no sense either, I doubt he's better at wing. If you want him to get ready for the NHL pace starting at wing makes no different because it's easier defensively than centre and when he goes back to centre playing wing would be a big waste of time. Domi isn't one dimensional, he isn't great defensively but he does well enough. Also plays for Dale Hunter, have to play defence. Rychel scored more points than Horvat, he's better than Horvat at that too. I don't think that is right. 2nd line centre are my expectations and it seems right for a top 10 pick regardless of who comes into our team.
-
But people are laying off Horvat because we have more high end prospects. Last year alot of posters slotted him on the 1st line looking at a "prospect line-up" but now posters put McCann there so the expectations for Horvat have laid off.
-
I was talking about his whole career not one season. If he's going to be a 3rd liner it's a fail of a pick, he has the potential to be more but people are getting more and more satisfied with him becoming a 3rd liner because we have McCann, Virtanen that were just drafted and a potential 2015 high 1st rounder.
-
I'm not trying to get down but I don't really see his offensive game rising to a 2nd line player, I want him to try and be an offensive beast. Domi had a better PPG than Horvat in the last 2 years, Rychel had a better 13/14 year. I said that?
-
If Horvat is not more than a top 6 player than our pick was a fail. You can get 3rd liners anywhere, his offence isn't NHL top 6 level but if our management wants to develop him into a 3rd liner than you gotta go with it.

I'm interested but if participates from last year's league want to be in they can take their spot over mine.

Eagles are going to be good this year. Really exciting team to watch, Nick Foles in his 2nd year as a starter. This team is going to fly, offence is loaded with a solid O-line, Foles, McCoy (top 2 RB in the league IMO), Sproles, Cooper, Maclin. Every time they get on the offence it looks like they're going to score every possession. Pats will do better than last year aswell, Thompkins, Dobson, Boyce, will have another year learning the offence better so look for them to get better and then adding in a future HOF QB, a couple other good WRs in Edelman and Amendola. Buccaneers will break out this year.

Our D-line gets no pressure. Mitchell is invisible.

Told you all Glenn sucks. He's washed up and crappy, panics, can't throw a deep ball. Like seriously when did you see Glenn throw a completed deep ball? He's terrible, get injured and don't play again for christ sakes you suck Glenn. Start Partridge, release Glenn.
-
Travis Partridge shows a good arm for that TD to Areceneaux. Pick by Ryan Phillips, in 2nd place for career picks being a BC Lion with 38 now.
-
I don't know but he never looked good since the start of the season. Maybe he's just done.
-
Can't push a defensive player from behind.
-
O-line looks great in the first half, Als blitz gets stopped most of the time.
-
Punt block, big run from Logan then TD from Courtney Taylor!!! He's emerging as our 2nd best receiver after Areceneaux. No TD but at the 1 yard line, hoping for a TD here.. QB sneak!
-
Troy Smith throwing to the wrong team, our offence looks good and especially Harris. TD, nice catch Arcenaeux, Glenn doing some positive work and not alot of runs.
-
That's the only reason? He has an intriguing skillset.

Been a boring game, Ottawa's offence is pretty bad and I don't know how Toronto isn't scoring as many points as they should. Need to get the ball more to Walker use some more play actions and hopefully one of the Redblack backs can get on a hot streak to catch some balls. Ottawa's O-line is terrible, worse than ours. Ottawa can't afford to go deep because by the time a WR is open Burris will be sacked, Toronto needs to take advantage of that.
