Not sure if it needs to go that far, but certainly a good opportunity for more dialog between the teammates, staff and management. Forcing someone to wear a symbolic jersey won't change their mind or belief system. I don't believe Kuz is a biggot by birth, and judging by his on ice and off ice interactions, he's a very emotive and caring human. He's in a totally different culture, and his family is too (not sure if still here visiting). I'm sure a fan who meets him one day, say like that autograph signing at the mall few weeks ago, people can bring it up in a non threatening way and have a chat on why it matters to them etc.
People aren't always fixed in their views. People can change, but it's usually not through coercion.
