Thank You. Boeser is not a carrier of the play yet he is not a sniper right now either. He continues to lose possession of the puck on the PP. This was really noticeable when he was demoted off the top line, he went pointless. Jake may not be scoring but he is also not on the top line either playing with great players such as Petey and Miller.

Oh I agree totally but we can't just rely on that alone. We have guys that can be pesky, we have guys that can get the greasy goals, we have guys that can punish the opposition but we are throwing our young stars out there and asking them to do probably more then they are capable of right now. Like someone else said, they looked tired out there. They are getting the lions share of ice time. Kind of like what we did to the Sedins in 2011. Lets be more then one dimensional and throw everything we have at St. louis and see if they can adapt, because right now, we are predictable and their coaching staff are making the adjustments as needed.

They have "woken up" because we let them. We were up 2 nothing and changes should have been made. We are constantly complaining about Perron and we have our very own "Perron" in Roussel. The difference? Our "Perron" does not play many minutes as does any of our heavy hitters or "deterents". We play LE instead. Up 2 nothing? Sounds eerily like 2011 when we allowed Boston back into the series as well.

You are spot on wai_lai416. People laying blame "here and there" as to what the problem is, Jake, one of the D, our Vets, blah blah blah. Our PP has been producing and our 5 on 5 sucks(most of our top guys points are on the PP). Ericksson has 0 points and the only top 6 guy who doesn't have a point. Boes has not been playing well and that line is getting hemmed in the D zone way too much. Why? St. Louis is just manhandling our smaller guys off the puck and there are not too many big strong guys on the top line to get the puck out of the corners. Some on here were praising TG for putting the 649 line together again? Maybe in the regular season. So we have Bo basically taking on the oppositions top lines so how much punishing is LE doing to these players? How much room is he giving Bo and Pearson to go on the attack? Oh! but again so many on here were praising TG for putting LE in there. Our top lines need some guys who are going to punish the opposition (i.e. ROR!) Jake was put in there in the 3rd period and was able to get the body on a couple of them but where was that since game one? Myers was the deterent early on and he is being sorely missed. Playoffs are a "Grind" but it appears TG wants to go the "Finesse" route. Jake ,Roussel, Mac and Motte need to be out there on almost every shift banging and crashing not sitting on the bench playing 6 or 7 minutes a night. It appears we are making the same mistakes we did in 2011 and are relying on finesse and our PP to win us games. I really believe we have the personnel to compete but we need a coach who can adjust and adapt to strategies needed to succeed in the playoffs, right now Berube is winning in that regard.

I stated something similar after last game. Don't know why TG didn't make adjustments. LE continues to miss out on his opportunities and Boes is not going right now, didn't last game either. Yeah sometimes he switches LE and Jake but his hate on for Jake has basically nixed that idea. I even suggested to move Mac up to shake things up. Maybe he is waiting for Bo to save the day again. Oh well, go hard boys!

Happy Birthday Jake! I am hoping by the end of this playoff run, you are able to show the naysayers you have another level of play many of us know you are capable of.

In a regular season I would tend to agree with you, however, in a series where St. Louis is looking for an advantage and is going over game tape? I would be looking at how to lesson where we can be taken advantage of. I do hope the line change situation is enough for Petey and Boes to get some extra room to work their magic.

Noticed last game that the Petey/Boeser line was getting hemmed in their own zone on a few shifts. Are the Blues catching on to something? Also noticed LE missed a few good chances to score and he is not doing too well along the boards. Although he is not playing too bad on that line, could it not be improved upon? Maybe Macewen? Don't want to start an argument here just maybe some things to keep an eye on for tonight, thanks.
