  1. Just glad Pats got outta there with a W...what a horrible game. It's clear the Pats are not a top dog like they were all these previous years and Brady is not comfortable with all the rookies on WR, and TE. Threw maybe 2 passes to the TE's, that was all. Thompkins couldn't catch a pass if his life depended on it and Amendola and Edleman were the only guys making plays alongside Vereen. ...what a horrible start to the season. Hope things change and the players get on the same page with Brady otherwise this is going to be a short season. If this is how they play the whole year, I'm guessing a wildcard spot and a loss. If they pick it up, who knows...and Amendola, stay healthy dude! F'n had all of Pats nation on their heads!
  2. I'm rooting for Mash to go all the way...Cinderella season should be topped off with a Cinderella ending : p
  3. Key notes of the game so far: - Manning is back to MVP form - Broncos defense getting the job done - Don't celebrate too early (hold onto the ball) - Thomas and Welker are Peyton's bread & butter - Kickers been bombing the ball for touchbacks - Don't get cocky (Peyton runs in 3 times, and now close to being a 1 possession game) ..Pats, come one! Why couldn't you give Wes that extra mill he wanted?! smh...
  4. Just gonna go ahead and bump this...VC, any news on this topic regarding the draft?
  5. Despite the 3-4 loss, the Fleischmann-Perry swap worked out...Couture with 3 points and Fleischmann, new linemate, with 2.
  6. Just a suggestion - maybe put Kunitz with Couture for a game and see how it goes. Logan's lack of scoring may be due to the higher scoring tendencies Nash and Perry have and it just might be causing him to not shoot as much. Idk, but just a thought. ...don't want to screw up the chemistry and production Nash and Perry have but just a mere suggestion. Bring Kunitz up to the top line and one of Perry/Nash to the 2nd to balance things out more?
  7. Well isn't that something, Panthers take the series. Outstanding work Gmen creating that team and despite frustration in the regular season, you made it in and now have a good a chance as anybody to go all the way
  8. Alright...please keep us informed as some teams such as Nail and myself are banking on the draft being a rebuilding team.
  9. Have a question which I hope someone can answer to the best of: when this upcoming draft is done with, how do you know what ratings to give the prospects/they haven't been drafted in real life so will it be according to what order they're picked in now in the STHS draft or is it based off of a certain website or something? Also, another question is for some uncreated prospects, their draft year says 2013/2014 and their potential is 0; can they be created or do we have to wait and if so, how will it work giving them their ratings and potential?
  10. I hear he's the next Patrick Stefan...I'll take him if you don't want a bust on your roster, especially considering you'll be 'wasting' a 1st overall pick on him
  11. The San Jose Sharks are very pleased to see that newly acquired goaltender Jacob Markstrom has developed into the young, current, and future franchise #1 that we were looking for at the start of the season. Acquired roughly half way through the season, the Sharks were uncomfortable with the shaky performances of James Reimer and at the time him being the franchise goaltender, things had to change. Nail and myself acted quickly and made major shockwaves soon after trading away franchise forward Logan Couture but it had to be done in order to resolve the goaltending situation. When acquired, Markstrom had B level goalie ratings but just after half a season in San Jose and breaking out of his status as a youngster and now a certified NHL'er at 25 years of age, his ratings have jumped and are those comparable to 1A starting goalie stats. (http://cdcsimleague.com/goalie.php?player=62) ...the Sharks are extremely happy to have Markstrom pan out the way we envisioned him to thus making the Couture-Markstrom deal a win. At the time there was a bit of uncertainty he wouldn't become that #1 starting goalie but all doubts aside, Jacob has done everything and has become that #1. Most pleasing of all is that Markstrom fits the criteria of our young team heading in the direction of youth and he'll be in San Jose for a long, long time.
  12. To top it all off, mr unknown played a whopping 0:00 minutes (seconds) of ice time in total; talk about efficiency!
  13. Won last 2 games but again diasspointed at the least to say that the lines somehow changed again and the Sharks top prospects got minimal minutes but still produced a bit...I just want them to get as much icetime and points as they can possible before the end of the season so they get that much more experience and better...
  14. Party in San Jose; everything's on the GM and all teams players and personelle are welcome : p
  15. Waits for VC to sim games, still waiting...forever alone...
  16. Wtf...my lines got changed for last game without me or Nail doing them and although we won, our prospects were either on the 4th line or benched and received minimal minutes on the ice. ...does STHS do that by itself or did someone else (another GM) change them?
  17. Just checked his stats with his new team and the numbers he's put up are phenomenal...looks like Tim Thomas in their Cup run lol
  18. All you guys aiming for the post-season, how's the playoff battle turning out to be? I just quickly checked the standings, seems like it's pretty tight and competitive considering you have high profile teams like Florida, LA, Winnipeg, Nashville, NYR fighting for playoff spots this late in the season with all the talent they have, including the other multiple teams in the mix. Also just wanted to note that the surprise team thus far has got to be Calgary for me. They are 2nd in the west and with a quiet team, they've been climbing up the standings despite making some major trades which some people questioned at the time...guess the critics have turned into crickets : p
  19. Just want to say sorry if I have unknowns in my farm team. After I called up my prospects and sent down the veteran players, I made my NHL lineups but couldn't so the farm ones since I had to wait and see if players would clear waivers or not. I do have enough players to have a full farm roster without any unknowns and at the time, I auto made my lines and never knew that unknowns would play, and honestly didn't even know about unknowns since yesterday when people were talking about it. I'll fix it as soon as possible and doesn't really matter considering I'm in last but that's no excuse...I'll get it done when I go on the computer next time.
  20. Guess you don't understand basic literature...again, whatever floats your boat...
