What else is he going to say lol. No one at the top ever considers themselves the greatest out of respect. Even Jim Kelly - a Brady/Pats hater - ate his words and admitted TB12 is the best ever. ...Brady has broken essentially all the NFL playoff records. He's reached the big game more times than Joe has. He's playing at a level unprecedented seeing his age. I personally think it's Brady with the edge atm but if Tom's able to win another SB it's over / no discussion. Don't hate greatness

If you don't mind, would like to hear what your reasoning behind that is. My view: Valencia beat Monreal and was taken out, its as simple as that. Would've been on a partial break and in great position to either score or put a dangerous ball through. Don't know what else has to happen to get a call. Monreal put his arm across Valencia when he was clearly beaten. -

Best game of the year for United. Really unfortunate result. United were deserving of 3 points. Last minute equalizer and it was the one and only shot on target for Arsenal. The gunners were outchanced and outplayed badly. Fracken lucky bastards somehow found a way to come out with a point in a game which they were totally dominated in. Bs result...that should've been 3 points in the bag. United just couldn't convert on the other handful of legitimate chances they had. Doesn't help there were a couple of controversial calls too like the "advantages" when up 1-0, not to mention the no call in the box. Pretty dreadful to not have come out on top after such a performance, should've killed them off. ...things are starting to look up though. Can finally see the players beginning to gel and getting comfortable in their roles. It's only a matter of time before they break out and start getting the results they deserve. That's 3 draws in a row at home which 2 points were lost out on each time. Could've been sitting top4 easily had the bounces n refs gone our way. -

1st half, United have successfully neutralized any attempt of attack from Arsenal. United have been creative and have had the better share of chances. Valencia robbed of a clear penalty...Monreal was beaten and obliged, I don't know what else you have to do to get a call. Cech with a couple key saves early and Pogba showing his elite vision finding the open man often. ...hope Rooney isn't subbed on. United playing well, don't see any reason to bring him on. Here's hoping to similar 2nd half. -

@Jiggs50 ...thoughts I think it's fair play. This guy won the SB and now gets the benefit of the doubt from his organization every time even though he's been complete ass. Thing is, the SB could've been a complete one hit wonder. Similar to if Kaepernick and the 49ers had won. Difference being they didn't and Kaeps is held accountable as evident by the starting job isn't 100% guaranteed to be his. And in comparison, you have Flacco who is killing the Ravens financially who's I think has thrown more INTs than TDs this year. Not to mention he's been pretty (below?) average his entire career.

Yep. I mean if another team offers $5M-$10M more over the entirety of the contract than the Jays do, I don't see that as enough for EE to leave TO tbh. Just not significant enough for him and seeing the type of the guy he is and how much he appreciates and loves the Jays, I just don't see him leaving for that. If a team however is willing to pay $20M or more than the Jays, then I see EE leaving. But I don't see that being the case as there isn't a whole lot of crazy interest for him where teams are willing to crack open the bank to bring him in. I think it's relatively close amongst the 5 teams said to be in it and at the end of the day, the margin will be small enough where he'll just decide to come back to the Jays....at least that's what I hope for -

Paul Kinzer (EE's agent) on Tim&Sid > EE believes this will be his last contract > in regards to the reported 4 year/$80M offer the Jays gave, "that's fairly accurate" > that was not a final offer on the Jays front as Ross and management continue to talk with Paul daily > feels the Morales signing (pending physical) doesn't close the chapter on EE, "the door is still open" > 5 teams have inquired about EE, mostly AL teams....so can assume 3 are AL and 2 NL > term and money will both be needed to get a deal done again as EE sees this as his last contract > on the reported 4 years/$80M, "it wasn't doable I'll put it that way. They didn't insult us. We had 1 day to go before free agency began so Edwin just wanted to get an idea of what his value was" > wasn't surprised a deal didn't get done at spring training since Mark and Ross were new to the job and getting a handle of things around the organization > says he'll be happy to get a deal done as soon as tomorrow but it's unlikely that'll be the case as it's about teams willing to meet their demands. Says EE is prepared to go through the winter meetings if that's what he has to do ...what I'm getting off this is EE is looking for at least 5 years (more than the reported 4 that was offered) and he isn't getting what he thought he would thus the waiting game. -

Yep. Smoak getting regular at bats is a disaster just thinking about it. No way should having gotten Morales move the Jays away from retaining EE. That'd be just stupid. -
Oh, and I forgot to mention the Hawks came into Gillette on a short week whereas the Pats were coming off of a bye. Historically, the Pats are virtually unbeatable at home and their record coming off of a bye is spectacular as well. Gotta hand it to the Hawks, they make no excuses and look forward to the challenge. Others complain about the circumstances at hand and dig themselves a hole, that's not Seattle. ...fracken hell, they were missing Bennett too arguably their best defender. Idk if anyone recalls the SB but he single handedly tormented the Pats oline. If the Hawks would've won, he would have been in discussion for MVP he was that great. Had he played on Sunday, it would've been a clearer victory if anything. Most definitely would have had roughly 10 or so moments (give or take) directly effecting the outcome of a play whether it be a sack, a pressure, a knockdown, etc.

Lol, seems Romo can't win in any which way. ...not as likely but the Broncos might be interested in Romo possibly. Philips connection and Elway connection in bringing in veteran QBs as a final push/piece.
-
And massive massive massive ups to Romo for issuing the statement he did. That was Godlike maturity. You can't teach humbleness. Romo did the Cowboys a huge favour by taking away the distraction himself. If he never did that, there would be uncertainty and the media would have ran with it but now they simply can't. He made it clear as can be. Romo's spent his entire career earning respect. If he didn't earn even the biggest of haters after that, you just have to look inside yourself because that's most definitely where the problem lies. Masterclass of a speech. After hearing that sincerity, no one should ever be able to question his character ever.

Congrats to the Seahawks on winning the mid season Super Bowl...at least it was the mid season SB and not the actual one ...Pats have a scheme problem on defense, that's all. They have the talent and weapons but Patricia needs to utilize them ore efficiently. Pats defense got torched yes and so did Seattle's but you won't hear that since they won and are the LOB. They allowed over 400+ yards. Last play was iffy and could've went both ways. I'm glad it was a no flag since games shouldn't be decided on those imo and it was a football play. However, I still think Cam got away with one as he held Gronk down when the ball was up in the air, not allowing Gronk a chance to go up and get it. But regardless of that, for the most part the Seahawks were the better team and deservedly so won. On a side note, Tom laying down the hammer on deflategate

Why do you take so much offense to when anyone points out anything wrong with the team? How is that in anyway trying to run Jake out of town? It's just the reality and truth. Jake is barely hanging on as a NHLer atm. What's wrong with saying that? Lol
