  1. Have you watched Krebs play a game? Feel like ur just looking at his pts line and that’s all. facts are he’s a draft eligible player carrying a crap whl team, leads the team in everyway possible. He’s a very impressive player and one of my favorites this draft. And 5ft 11 180lbs isn’t small for his age. Plus size isn’t an issue in the nhl now many examples of players much much smaller than him having great success in the league
  2. And Hughes Kakko Byram even moreso! But that’s what is exciting about this draft - really not stressed about the lottery at all!
  3. This post should have the caption: the Canucks plan to sign Panarin, Stone and Karlsson its all right here clear as day!!
  4. You know I think jack Hughes is amazing but I’m surprised Kakko isn’t getting more 1st overall consideration as well. I think I lean to a Kakko as well. problem with Jack is he didn’t challenge himself this year. I think staying in the program another year was a mistake and he’s stagnated this year a little. i personally think he should have gone NCAA or Europe.
  5. Curious how people rank these three: BOLDY KREBS KALIYEV i personally would go: Krebs - think he would be the perfect LW for Horvat Boldy: Boldy-Petey-Boeser Kaliyev: same as Boldy right now where we are sitting in draft rankings is a realistic spot for where we could finish. And that puts those three players in our range if we had all 3 available who would you take?
  6. True - he’s at the top I just think kaliyevs is the best.
  7. He’s crazy in th offensive zone. Just deadly - think he has best shot release in draft
  8. Not the exact same top 8 order but I agree on the 8. also think if we pick outside of that Krebs/Boldy/Kaliyev are fantastic winger options for us very high on them as well! And for D in that range soderstrom seems to be the guy. so as long as we pick top 12 I think we are going to get a very solid prospect.
  9. Really I think lavoie skating is his weakness!? Unless I just have watched games where he hasn’t exhibited skating as a strength strange
  10. Ryan B has him above Broberg has watched them both lots and thinks his skill sets more transferable to the NHL and shared a pretty good arguement if he’s available Where we pick we probably take him if there’s no high high end forwards available
  11. I know he’s young but gaud did he look good last night! He is really getting up to speed and it’s hard not imagine that he won’t take a big step next year in overall play,m and consistency hes is going to be up to speed and have a full summer of training and the competitive fuel of Bo Elias and Brock all pushing to become better. He wants to be a core piece and considered in the same tier as them well as bo and Brock haha really excited for this kid and I love his energy!
  12. Funny.. guys one of the most offensively talented in the entire draft watch him shoot the puck it’s crazy, and he scores from all over. Rebounds, one timers, beats goalies clean, bats em out of air guys crazy good in the offensive zone and players with this skill set do not go in the second round i guess I’m in the crazy if you don’t crowd lol
  13. Zegras is going to go very high, fact he’s a C and his play continues to trend upwards are big draft day differentiators Byram is going to go 3-6 dependent on the team in those positions for sure. Like if Aves pick 3 I’d bet big money they take him at 3.
  14. Agree except for Seider. Not that I’m saying no just haven’t seen him play and from what I’ve read and heard his offensive ceiling is low. Soderstrom or or any of those wingers would be ideal 100% I agree. i don’t care of Kaliyev is 1 dimensional right now. Cause that skill set is NHL level big time. Best release in draft IMO Krebs is the top LW in the draft imo even tho I think boldy is a stud. If they switched roles / teams I think the opinions on them would be more then switched as well and Krebs would be a top 5 guy. Soderstrom haven’t watched but Ryan B gave some great insight on him and Broberg on SN650 and really highlight the differences in their skill sets. Really hope we don’t draft Broberg.
  15. I’m having his dream regularly! In mine I see: Edler-Karlsson Hughes-Tanev Hutton-Stecher Brisebois/Juolevi-Biega/Chatfield Juolevi full year in Utica depending on rehab Gudbranson traded.
  16. Omg I can’t believe what a steal this kid could turn out to be... his development curve is way ahead of what Gaudettea was.. his cellys are amazing love the energy Spitinchiclets is loving him too haha! didnt realize how talented this kid was.. all year just continues to impress wow point production, seamless ncaa Transition, unexpectedly impressive world jrs, amazing cellys, and big gwg to go beanpot im on the madden bandwagon LETS GO!
  17. I’m sure after their success with Rantanen, Kakko is high on their list. and I agree with your logic Byram makes all kind of sense for them.. be pretty nasty
  18. I don’t know but his draft position is going to be a hot topic come draft day!
  19. I’m so curious to see where Brett Leason gets drafted. i think his game is going to translate well to the NHL and he’s just a late bloomer. Will be interesting to follow
  20. I’m not high on Lavoie either. His skating isn’t nhl level and his production this Szn is underwhelming
