Hes coming in to a good Ahl group thats really vibing. He will get to play a big role and maybe build some chemistry with Podkolzin and or Hoglander. Maybe even Karlsson. Excited to see him there and he will start getting familiar with the fans, market and city here. Really happy they aren't rushing them/him and are committing to the development of them the proper way to give them the best chance aaa becoming the best player they could be.

Im thinking hes going to slot in next to JT Miller and we will see his ceiling. PK: https://eyesonisles.com/2019/12/07/islanders-penalty-kill-key-beauvilliers-progress/

Alvin Interview confirming: had to have a 1st round pick back. They like Beauvillier the tenacity, puck hound nature of his game and how he looked in playoff hockey. Want to have him on the Left Side in the Top 6. Think he will skate with JT Miller. He pronounced Raty name like RAT-E kinda funny. Made a Joke about him scoring on us saying we saw what he can do. And that hes going to assign him to Abby and they really like him and his progression.

I think its realistic to say: Beauvillier is faster and better defensively than both Garland and Boeser. With similar offensive potential to what their seasons have been this year at a lower cost. He also fills a more needed role as a potential PK fixture and could compliment our skilled players better having a better player fix. We aren't tied to his contract for long if things didn't workout. Raty will spend time in Abby I would think but we will see. And why not be optimistic on a 20 year old C who lit up Liiga in his D + 1 with a late November birthday?

Unrelated to your post but adding Raty and whoever we draft in 2023 will really take ism media pressure of Lek not being our TOP PROSPECT in the system too. Well Ive come out sand shared when I was 18 I got MONO and I was very athletic at this point and it affected me immensely and it lingered for months after since I returned to the gym maybe a little too soon after. I agree if he did have a big strength and conditioning summer AHL would be possible. Great points on his game growing, and having to be patient with his weigh tor it could really hurt his development. I wonder if one more year in Sweden then AHL for 1-2 years is more a realistic path and a few years of his body maturing. Im still high on Lekkeriamaki I believe he will be a player for us.

I mean he's always been a Canuck and it kinda makes sense but its also kinda weird. But for he purposes of the game and everything makes sense. Im sure the NHL isn't stoked on this being announced before the game... SO if the draft lotto is actually rigged hope we didn't get tin the bad books... Oh wait we've always been there nvm
