Ya so again you're simply ignoring how such a large percentage of those hospitalized in Ontario are unvaccinated. Check BC, Alberta, Sask, Quebec. AMERICA. See their rates of hospitalizations of vaxxed vs unvaxxed. When such a small minority takes up such a large percentage of a demographic there is a reason for it and you can suggest anything you'd like but the very fact that so many unvaccinated people across North America are taking up such a large percentage of ICU beds and hospitalized cases proves a very clear point.

[PGT] Vancouver Canucks at Florida Panthers | Jan. 11, 2022

So...how bout that Pettersson eh? Really though. That much time off vs the Panthers who have played a fair bit in comparison. Meh -
77.45% of all ontario citizens are double vaccinated by their metrics. again, 1/3 or more of all hospitalizations are unvaccinated. When you weigh that against the nation, it is a damning statistic in which the minority, STRONG minority of unvaccinated people are making up a ridiculous percentage of the hospitalized cases.
-
It's a pretty damning distinction when it is weighed against the majority being vaccinated and that's inarguable.
-
You know how ratios work? Or? So, 77.45 of all people from Ontario are fully vaccinated. 1735 fully pr partially vaccinated people are in the hospital with covid related symptoms. leaving /13 of that or 552 unvaccinated people being unvaccinated in the hospital. Further more, 172 people fully or partially vaccinated are in Ontario ICU beds and 138 unvaccinated are in there. Meaning, that over 1/3 of ALL hospitalized cases come from less than 23% of the population. Do you know why these ratios matter?

I'm consistently drinking my 2 fingers across the glass a night. Not dry but surely not wet

The more I think about it actually. Kane would be that near perfect bottom 6 fit for Colorado. The same way kessel was for Pittsburgh. But he's essentially a free asset. He's a great skater, has the grit the Avs are missing and can absolutely score buckets of goals with a decent set up man.

Dry Jan or Feb I hear is the thing people do
-
He spoke very poorly. he kept suggesting thats what the provinces wante,d that's where the provinces were leaning and he'd have further talks with them. But the majority, overhwleming majority of our provinces are conservative run and there's ZERO chance they'd mandate that at the provincial level. He may have dug himself an ugly hole with that statement
-
Kane going to Colorado, Tampa or maybe Pitts for a bonafide cup run

See I am ok with that. Our federal health minister suggesting it will become mandatory to have this is what is feeding my statement. I would be ok with people voluntarily waiving the right to medical care should they contract covid at the refusal of a preventable vaccine. But I can not accept the idea of mandated injections "or else" which is how his comments read
-
I still vehemently disagree with stripping the rights to body autonomy from people. That will never change no matter how pro vaccine I am. I REFUSE to be lumped in to the same category as anti abortion idiots and the hyper religious who believe women don't have a place outside of the home or that people of certain skin colour or orientation aren't equal based on how they look or who they love. The moment we start stripping rights of that nature from people is the moment THOSE people have won their argument and I just refuse to accept that. Maybe more restrictions, specific areas of commerce/health/education or something of that nautre but stripping their right to govern their bodies is a mandate to far

Alternatively for people who don't like colourful dots

only 15% of all new cases are unvaccinated. But they still make up over 60% of all hospitalizations. What's that look like?
-
So...how's this Connor kid doing?

Well.... something something less hospitalized https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2022/01/11/1071568846/u-s-covid-hospitalizations-hit-new-record-high-raising-risks-for-patients The omicron-driven surge has sent COVID-19 hospitalizations skyrocketing across the U.S., reaching a new pandemic high this week with 145,982 patients hospitalized. This exceeds the previous high recorded in January last year, according to data tracked by the Department of Health and Human Services, from more than 5,400 hospitals in the country. Patients with COVID now fill about 30% of ICU beds in the nation and pediatric COVID hospitalizations are also at the highest rate of the pandemic. The record-breaking numbers are a sign of just how quickly the omicron variant has swept across the country. Overall, infections are also at record levels, with the U.S. averaging more than 700,000 new cases a day.

All I desired was some clarity on some previous statements. All good.
-
That's actually a great idea. Just do it before this next atmospheric river and the warm temps it brings show up this week because it looks like it may be another issue if it hits hard with rain and warmer temps

SO to summarize. And again i need to know if this is the case You are possibly or potentially advocating against vaccinated immunity correct? Regardless of the medical expertise in overwhelming volume that states it is safe. the almost 7 billion injections with less than 100k or so attributed serious VAERs events. This is soemthing you will not accept or accede to? But You will trust or allow those same medical professionals to save the life of you or your family if hospitalized with covid or other preventable issues? I just need to know where this argument is coming from or stands so I know whether we're looking at a Darwin award or not and can then plan the celebration or wake accordingly. Edit*. I believe I quoted the wrong person when I went to ask this question. I believe it was for @Gatzkek and not you. If so, my bad and thanks @gurn for pointing that out.

Ok there's some very questionable statements here. Sorry bud. If you're in France. Good on you for fighting against a mandatory vaccine mandate. people SHOULD be fighting for the rights to govern their own bodies. but almost 7 billion jabs out for less than or around 100k VAERs incidents of any serious nature vs 230+ million covid infections, 5.5+ million deaths or more, 32 million estimated long term health issues Covid causes as great an issue with myocardial/pericardial issues as the vaccine until you run the numbers in scale then covid is far more of an issue for cardiovascular issues The vaccine is not to stop you from contracting the issue, but to keep you from being admitted to the hospital. in BC over 50% of ALL hospitalized covid cases are from the less than 14% unvaccinated and that's a damning statistic. While Omicron might be far less fatal, it is also overwhelmingly transmissible which is leading to a rise in hospitalizations period. Long term, this is good as those protected will safely contract the omicron strain and possibly develop those vital immunities the body develops after exposure/repeated exposure So again, good on your nation for possibly standing up against a mandate that would take away your rights to govern your own body, but the questionable statements are a head scratcher
-
7 billion or so jabs with less than 100k major issues and it's scary. 235 million covid infections with 5.5 million deaths and 32 million estimated long haulers and it's survivable ONly listen to them while they try to save your life. Everything else they say about vaccines or how to not catch covid...ignore

Shockingly more to do with the ingredients used. In the point of Rum, cane sugar/demerara after distillation the actual alcohol contains sugar and as it gets colder it crystallizes and then expands, destroying the taste and turning the actual liquid in to a syrup. Tequila, while not a sugar or sucrose based distillation has similar issues for some reason. Whiskeys/Bourbons/Vodkas and Gins don't have the same issues for some reason and can handle sub zero temperatures with relative ease but will degrade under heat or if stored near a heater.
-
I actually brought in my rums and tequilas. Gins, Vodkas Bourbons and Whiskies apparently do ok to -25 but rums and tequilas don't. Something to do with the sugar and chemical make up of the rum/tequila liquors. But On the flip side, whiskies, gins, vodkas and bourbons will degrade in the heat and lose almost all flavour whereas rums and tequilas do just fine. Cool eh?

They are also massively prominent in covid cases.....what's your point

Scotch and sambuca/jager for me. Honestly, I drank myself stupid on that stuff when I was younger. Cheap $20 scotch. Now I drink it and I immediately feel ill and no matter how fine the bottle it all tastes exactly the same
