  1. Sounds like that's YOUR statement and not that of the majority Edit*. I don't have cable or watch news
  2. How's that compare to Thursday or Friday? Wondering what the increase levels are for hospitalized unvaxxed vaxxed etc
  3. It proves that easily entertained people watch opinion columnists and talking heads It proves that people with an emotional bias will believe things that conform to their bias It also proves people consider popularity the same as credibility. But as most normal people don't watch this stuff and you can actually delve very deeply to see the education levels, income and region these viewers are from it also shows and highlights again how easy it is to sway the opinions of the easily mislead
  4. Not inaccurate. Just worthless to the argument and proves literally nothing
  5. Most people? Do you generally speak for large portions of the population or is this a new affectation? Rogan is an absolute clown. Look at his interview with Kilstein. Or one of my faves, mark Gordon where he said "i know more than you" about a subject he couldn't even spell Your weird issue with CNN is telling though. Maybe stick to Hannity, Calrson etc and stop speaking for the majority of people as a whole based on "ratings"
  6. Now what EXACTLY do you mean speak freely? Like Alex Jones? IN every good/great interview people ahve a chance to speak freely. Suggesting somehow that ratings equate standards, respectability, expertise or credibility is ridiculous. That list has Carlson, Hannity, Fox and Friends etc in the top 5. All that list means is people are easily entertained and will watch literal crap based off of emotional responses and bias. Nothing more. rogan HAS had some interesting people, and HAS had some quality shows in the past. But since Covid, year 2.5 of Trump he's gone full re***d in his views and went from being an open source of commentary and conversation to this weirdly biased person who "saw something on you tube, and read a story so it makes me more of an expert than you" type of person. Someone said Bro Science and nothing could be more on point.
  7. I love a good natural selection
  8. I agree to what? Americans are stupid enough to believe that opinionists are somehow credible media personalities or qualified experts because they screech louder than their guests? entertainers are not experts.
  9. Lol.... Look ma, Joe rogan is more entertayneng thun hannerty, curlson AND that maddah wuhman he must be smart
  10. To suggest basement Joe rogan is a great interviewer and put him in the same space as David frost, Barbara Walters, Mike Wallace, Leslie Stahl or even Koppel THESE people could interview someone, give them time and space to speak then pounce on them. Asking the hard questions and holding them to their statements Instead of "Now I know you're making some great points, but I saw this youtube video, and wait let me finish; I saw this youtube video"
  11. So, which part of keeping people out of the hospitals is the part you consistently have so much issue with? And no, your statement was not a question, it was telling DLC what to do You regularly repeat the same stuff without ever considering WHY these steps are being taken So again which part of keeping people out of the hospitals is the part you consistently have so much issue with?
  12. You don't take advice or read information. Still waiting for you to address the points I brought up, information I shared to refute your statements.
  13. I like the guy from Tampa myself. He drafts endless gems. Al Murray come on down! Hell, why not hire tAl Murray from Tampa as our new head scout and Garth Joy from the Avs as our new pro scout
  14. So, which part of keeping people out of the hospitals is the part you consistently have so much issue with?
  15. When I was working overseas I was told to work in Turkey, China, Africa I had to have very specific shots. Dengue, yellow fever etc. Their house their rules and for liability purposes my employer mandated it is essential and non voluntary if we accepted the jobs. I was told I could stay in canada, my rate would be about $300 a day working in Sask, but almost $800 a day working overseas in US funds. I lined up for my shot immediately.
  16. Try reading the employment contract and the amended covid 19 section. You might learn something. MIGHT Unlikely but I have hope for you. Don't worry, when you completely ignore it i'll fill you in so you can ignore that too
  17. The issue is, he's like the talking heads on FOX People ASSUME he's a credible media individual because he's speaking to some "some" credible people They don't understand or refuse to understand he's for entertainment value only
  18. Do you read your employment contracts before you accept a job? https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/publications/healthy-living/canadian-immunization-guide-part-3-vaccination-specific-populations/page-11-immunization-workers.html#p3c10t1 https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/publications/healthy-living/canadian-immunization-guide-part-3-vaccination-specific-populations/page-11-immunization-workers.html https://www2.gov.bc.ca/assets/gov/health/about-bc-s-health-care-system/office-of-the-provincial-health-officer/covid-19/covid-19-hospital-and-community-vaccination-status-information-preventive-measures.pdf Health care workers (HCW), including hospital employees, other staff who work or study in hospitals (e.g., students in health care disciplines, contract workers, volunteers) and other health care personnel (e.g., those working in clinical laboratories, nursing homes, home care agencies and community settings) are at risk of exposure to communicable diseases because of their contact with patients/clients (diagnosed or undiagnosed) or their environment. There is also a risk that HCW could transmit an undiagnosed vaccine-preventable disease to others. Some health care institutions and jurisdictions are moving towards making vaccination a condition of employment for HCW. HCW require assessment of immunization status, completion of routinely recommended vaccine series, and booster doses as necessary. In addition, HCW may require additional doses or booster doses of routine immunizations, or a change in the routine immunization schedule. Unimmunized or incompletely immunized HCW should receive routine immunizations as appropriate for age as well as vaccines recommended because of specific occupational risks. Refer to Table 1 for a summary of recommended immunizations for HCW.
  19. Some of Joe Rogans most interesting moments. And people want to call him credible. He's a frigging guy sitting in a basement interviewing people but interjecting their expertise with web page and you tube based suggestions. He suggested people were intentionally starting fires for political reasons because "he read a story" https://www.dexerto.com/entertainment/top-5-most-controversial-joe-rogan-experience-podcast-episodes-1588112/ Honestly, I would not give a guy who suggested elk meat and BCAAs were great treatments for cancer any actual substance
  20. Since people don't seem to understand these are some of the required and requested vaccinations for health care workers and lab workers. Prior to covid these were essentially mandatory. Almost every single provincial and federally employed HCW, be it dr or nurse or lab worker; has signed a contract that states that their vaccination and immunization statuses can and will change based on new information or existing health issues/crises It';s funny how people always seem to suggest that HCWs were fired but never EVER once spend the 15 seconds it takes to look up the fact these conditions already existed in their employment contracts https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/publications/healthy-living/canadian-immunization-guide-part-3-vaccination-specific-populations/page-11-immunization-workers.html#p3c10t1
  21. Unfortunately, a great number of people decided to listen to the people who echoed their emotions as opposed to the medical professionals who are literally doing their jobs with the information at hand. In a day and age of social media it is a dangerous platform to give the ill educated such a loud platform or soap box for the easily lead astray to absorb
  22. Projections are estimates, they are neither right nor wrong but present a possible case scenario. You're reaching really hard here champ One weird statement with a political jab that has nothing to do with how medical professionals have bene addressing the pandemic followed by a smarmy statement about Bonnie Henry's statement taken wildly out of context followed by a global statement about how people in general feel. You're all over the board again Huh? This...has little to do with anything. Moderna's stock price is immaterial to the matter at hand especially with 4 different vaccine options out there. people are not hyperventilating over case numbers at all; we're watching them because they are starting to tell a much broader story and hopefully that story is that this current variant will be the one that enables us to reach that magical land where we can just go about our business again and people like you can go back to whatever it was you were doing before this
