  1. Again, you are ONLY seeing the infromation you WANTED to see. See the bolded froom your link. Measures were taken and introduced and things got better for a time. Then they were relaxed and omicron showed up and they exploded. As well see my below statement which you so very clearly proved to be correct in your rush to ignroe the information as a whole and ONLY absorb or factor in what you want to read. Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam released new COVID-19 modelling today that warns Canada could see up to 15,000 cases per day by the end of the month if the rate of vaccination does not increase and more restrictive public health measures are not introduced.
  2. No they are not. They have never been wrong. They are projections only in a worst case event. Always have been. They are blunted by actions taken to mitigate them. You are once again only seeing the information you WANT to see instead of understanding the information and reasoning as a whole
  3. No, see that's a strawman. I am not saying anything about the 90% vaccination rates. You're injecting statements in to a conversation I am not and have not made to avoid the simple "basic math" as you call it In BC we're at or around 87% which still leaves over 500,000 people unvaccinated or nationwide almost 3.7 million With still almost 4 million people unvaccinated in canada that is a significant amount of people that could drag things out. In BC with only a few hundred ICU beds it is worth noting. But you wanted to ignore the "basic math" as you stated so I wanted to point it out to you that 10x the omicron cases will invariably lead to an increase in hospitalizations. Which we are now starting to see across the globe
  4. Basic math says 10,000X the cases will inevitably lead to a far larger surge in hospitalized as we are starting to see now. If 3 of 10 got delta but 9 or 10 got omicron, eventually the numbers will in fact catch up. But that's basic math and we haven't exactly been dealing with fact based statements have we Bolt?
  5. Good luck witht hat one. Myself and 3-5 other people have outright tasked that individual to stop running their mouth and present facts but they run and hide, ignore it or throw in some bs red herring or strawman to a void having to prove their argument. We've established said person and his..."lighting named friend" are just here intentionally trolling people a couple days ago.
  6. Te Avs have one of the smoothest and most mobile D corps I've seen since the Islanders dynasty, or Coffy lead the Oilers. They are playing behind world class players and two top 10s in Raantanen and Mackinnon. Kadri is not nor has he ever been a slouch either as he leads the team in numerous metrics. They poached Nichuskin who is nearly a ppg player and Girard etc. This is without the mention of that trade that saw them net Byram for Duchene. They have 13 total players at or above .5 ppg this year and if you look at their roster it is full of top picks, 12th or higher. Most of their reclamation projects or pro scouting moves from trades were home runs. makar is an absolute stud. Byram is going to be an absolute stud. Toews, well look at him. They have two 1st overall players, a 2nd and 3rd, a 7th and 8th a 10th. Numerous players from the 10-20 spot and a few in the 20-30 spot for draft on their roster. Essentially this is a team where every possible player they drafted is starting to play up to their potential and that doesn't happen often. Makar and Toews on any other team are great players still. Byram as well. Johnson ok sure. Mackinnon/Rantanen/Kadri all good to great. But ocne you put them together and allow them to start complimenting each others strengths you get what we had from 2010 to 2012 and if their goaltender gets his act together you're looking at a potential cup winning team in the next couple years. TLDR: It isn't just great defensemen. Theyd be good elsewhere too. it's an entire cast of well scouted well drafted players living up to their potential in a good mobile system.
  7. Great. You're as sick of this as everyone else But you spread lies. You intentionally goads people in to arguments with zero intention of actually hashing it out. You're a troll. We know that about you and that's plenty. Good day
  8. My mistake sorry $400k over asking with some shady realtor related issues https://beta.ctvnews.ca/local/ottawa/2021/3/19/1_5354943.html
  9. You should read about that couple from the Ottawa river valley who were forced in to bidding almost $800k over asking. There's some seriously shady things us buyers aren't seeing
  10. I grabbed one of each of their premium release! You'll have to let me know how they taste as I haven't opened them yet!!
  11. At least now we know you're nothing more than an attention seeking individual with no desire to discuss this. You just want to troll. Take care
  12. Im standing here waiting for my kids, there's throngs of people without masks on or wearing them under their chins. Expecting people to act responsibly is like asking Forsberg the Great(rip) to praise Trudeau
  13. Sitting on Orchard Park mall right now. Literally 70%-30% in terms of people wearing masks to not wearing masks. ZERO enforcement. Place is packed. Nobody asking people to mask up, nobody saying anything or correcting them. Including this lovely group of 5 not wearing their masks properly at all in the mall entrance that have been sitting here for almost ten minutes chatting while I wait for my kids to get back from the bathroom. All the mandates, all the restrictions and rules can he made. But zero enforcement means they're worthless. Expecting minimum wage employees to enforce health mandates is and was a non starter from the get go
  14. You haven't provided anything to date so it's not a trust thing its an I don't believe it's possible thing. Dozens of pages now, numerous statements and zero actual evidence to back any if it up. I go by actions not words
  15. You're just 100% gonna avoid answering the 3 of us with outstanding questions from claims you made aren't you?
  16. Obviously it will take time. As our area's of the world get more and more immunity to not only the current variants but others due to vaccination and repeated exposure we can move towards others, EXACTLY as we did with polio, tb, smallpox etc. From the beginning we were told a few things, much of which holds true almost to the letter but that you and your types want to ignore. Because you seem to continue to want to repeat the EXACT same arguments that are destroyed. Then ask for mroe information, which you are given. Which you then ignore and then ask the EXACT same stupid questions all over again for. I am still waiting as are others on any number of articles to back up your claims and statements. Myself, still waiting for your proof of who is making this virus a political issue, iwtl still waiting for your proof of what the governments are doing. Others....still waiting to. But instead of producing proof to support your statements you continue to do exactly what I stated you would. You make a claim, ask for info. Get it, refuse to respond to it. ignore it, then a day or two later come asking the exact same question again, using the same ridiculous statements again knwoing full well the answers and data you wanted are a mere few pages in the past. But you don't want that, you want your nirvana fallacy, your perfect argument. Everything compartmentalized perfectly or nothing will sway you. It's really getting old. So I'll ask again. WHICH party or affiliation is making this a consistent political issue? WHO is threatening people or suggesting that rights are being stripped and lies are happening and and and....? Who is it?
  17. To my understanding, it's (in the instance of covid) found regularly or has occurred with regularity amongst a group of people. People being vaccinated, contracting surviving being boosted and contracting again with semi regular infections would mean this is endemic amongst the populace If Omicron has far higher rates of transmission like we see, but is ripping through the vaccinated without hospitalization than the experts could be correct in that we're looking towards this virus becoming far less harmfull which would be a great thing
  18. I'll be waiting. What does this have to do with being "political" EVERY SINGLE MOMENT of this virus has been spent working towards a situation where the virus is/was endemic and essentially not threatening to the larger population. There's nothing political about that at all. The very fact we MAY be moving towards that instance due to vaccinations, smart response and more understanding of the virus and current variants/mutations is a great thing. Suggesting that it's not or that it is political is ridiculous
  19. Tou say the right things to generate or illicit an emotional response enough times and you know full well what the outcome is.
  20. Ok. Show me which party/political leaning in numbers have made political statements about it. It's glaringly obvious which side of the fence has but I'm interested in seeing your work
  21. Just gonna keep waiting I guess. Meanwhile I'll point out it's a virus, a sickness. It doesn't vote for a party. Only the people who seem to be railing the loudest have made it political. It seems only specific parties/people are using platforms and statements regarding policy about it. Fancy that.
  22. Why does it matter? You keep claiming omicron is nothing then claim or support doing everything to help health care workers at risk from covid. Make up your mind
  23. Sure did. And Sure did. Which part didn't you like? You're unable to refute any of it so you're obviously still looking for that perfect argument. So which part didn't you like hmm?
  24. Correction. 6 out of 7 go undetected. If you were truly interested in learning you'd research or look this information up for yourself. https://www.one.org/africa/blog/undetected-covid-cases-africa/ https://www.afro.who.int/news/six-seven-covid-19-infections-go-undetected-africa If you'd like to refute these numbers or case estimates by all means do so with data.
