  1. Good. Yet I don't doubt in the future you'll miss me. You can't avoid trying to be right. Off Topics answer to Oldnews that you are. But then again, you don't think sexual assault is serious by your own admission and as a husband and father of two daughters I can say we finally agree one something. I don't have time for someone who thinks like that. So let's just never cross paths again.
  2. But without evidence, and with only he said she said...Trudeau is guilty. Huh... Even though he said he didn't remember the incident and if there was an incident apologized for it. Huh... Also, I dare say sexual assault and potential rape allegations are in fact VERY serious. But I guess we see things differently
  3. Hey it's FTG with another it aint so bad moment He's there for a job interview. He is lying. He has lied. This is not a criminal proceeding this is a job interview so ya. it's kind of important to determine how much of a POS this guy really is. I find it ironic that you chime in regarding anything from the left regarding these incidents yet still manage to find time to draw parallels and try to diminish the alleged actions of a person based on said parallels Alleged facts or not he is not worthy by his own actions to take that position For all we know, he is a drunkard who boozed and groped his way through college. I'm sure some of you can relate
  4. Ya except. He's there for a job interview So it's kind of important and holds a ton of weight. but you do you man
  5. WTB full skit of Matt Damon impersonating Kavanaugh on SNL last night, without worthless computer generated commentary from the right.

  6. If and I do say IF the other alleged victims are to be believed and Mark Judges book as well it sincerely shows Kavanaugh is a liar at the absolute best and party to harrassment and assaults at the worst. Regardless of whether he is guilty or not, his lying about his past alone shows he does not have the temperment or impartiality to sit as a judge on the supreme court Agreed. His statements about conspiracy theories, his obvious bias against an entire segment of the population based on their political leaning shows he would be entirely unwilling to follow the word of the law based on personal bias. Voting him in now only shows that the GOP is ready to do whatever it takes to hold power. They would not be voting on guilt or innocence but on the belief he is the best man for the job. After yesterday I sincerely find it hard to believe THIS is the best man or person for the job Yup. At best he's a liar. At worst a drunk without boundaries who lied about his past. I've been accused of something similar before. I asked for an investigation immediately by our site supervisor. Turns out she was angry because I not only would not give her access to our site based on her credentials but also had fired her BF from a site a few months before. The claims were nto sexual in nature but sexist as she claimed I said a woman has no job on a site. Regardless at that time I was in my mid 20s and could not risk that kind of damage to my reputation so I demanded it be looked at and was told I couldn't be on site until it was cleared up and stood a chance of losing that contract. A man who is guilty usually does not want to answer direct questions. Does not want to be investigated. A man who is innocent will hedge appropriately but has no problems answering said questions nor do they change their stories or worry if they're investigated for it. \In my personal belief Kavanaugh is absolutely guilty of something, But regardless of guilt or innocence does not have the temperment to be on the SCOTUS
  7. There are other more horrid accusations about what he did in college As a man. If of course the other accusations and mark judges book is to be considered believable
  8. My father was abused in a residential school. Was told never talk about it. Don't bring attention to it. Move on with your life. Be a man That was 30 years before i was even born. People who cite the amount of time thats past as important are absolutely missing the point in the most egregious possible way
  9. I found her to be credible. She answered everything well. With composure. She has notes from therapy dating back years. She has a polygraph. Counterpoint Kavanaugh was emotional. Refused to answer very basic questions. Essentially lied about his past regarding drinking and carousing. Essentially had a tantrum and accused the democrats of x y and z every chance he got. Whether he is guilty is not the issue at the moment. His ability to remain composed, impartial and uphold the law as a voice at the highest level of courts is the issue and it is absolutely compromised and that is inarguable
  10. Yes because a poster in a hockey forum deserves and needs to be held to a higher standard for slander and liable than say A media personality at Fox? The president of a country?
  11. How do you feel about men coming forward 40 years later after being abused by the church?
  12. I do wonder what the Libs will be saying about this motion. There was a LOT of talk about their shutting down German and his invesitgative unit in to fraud and money laundering and the reasons why. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/province-appoints-task-force-to-get-dirty-money-out-of-real-estate-1.4841085 I think we can start expecting a sell off soon if they apply the right laws and pressure
  13. Correct me if I am wrong. Didn't he have back surgery over the summer? Didn't he miss almost the entre summer training in recovery? He was arguably our most responsible defenseman last night while looking gassed. And people are still not happy?
  14. TIL is what I meant yes, hard writing from a phone some times. I'm 6 months late to the party but there's still a ton of money to be made. My bet is on Ash, Aurora, Canopy to be safe investments for a while. Park your $ for 10 months or so and recoup your 30% minimum. Again, new industry and the largest players will run the show for the first 3-5 years
  15. There's only 3 companies I'd even consider. Aurora, Canopy and Tri. They're the only three right now with the capital to weather most storms and are being courted by the medical and soft drink/confection corporations.
  16. It actually has nowhere to go but up. Think of it like this. There are only 3 major players in the Canabis market right now. They effectively have the money/capital to eat every new entrant in the market. being the big 3 it means all medical and food related investment from major existing corporations will go through them as they are the only channels. Much like back in the day Nortel/Blackberry were the only two major players until someone with more money came along having invested the time and energy to build the infrastructure necessary to compete like Apple and Samsung. They will essentially run the market. And with Colorado's 5 year test almost up and all of the border states along the US/Canada border set to legalize we are seeing major corporate investment happening now. In the next 5 years you'll see those stocks literally skyrocket because much like th dotcom and telecom bubbles. This is a brand new market and there is currently no set ceiling or limit Really kind of exciting
  17. So what you're saying is....he doesn't have the flu anymore?
  18. Bigger boats....in an already ridiculously narrow entrance to a port Hmmmm
  19. lol order of Canada. Do you know some of the other stalwarts who hold that prestigious title? The list is cringe worthy I have met and worked with him here in the Okanagan. he used to come pick cherries every summer and enjoy sitting in tents. now he rents a 4 bedroom palace and drinks wine. he's entirely a hypocrite. He may have done great things, that does not mean he is a great person let alone infallible
  20. He's a hypocrite. Great guy. Total hypocrite
  21. I normally don't comment when people make that argument. But it is always so easily destroyed because it is so poor. Let me try your tact Would be interested if you could somehow share how you could live your life without water. Fresh Air. Clean food. Could you please describe your dietary habits, how you'd live without water and how many tanks of oxygen a day you'd need to breathe It would be very educational as that is a big step to take. See how stupid that argument sounds? There are no absolutes. I do not agree with KoS like at all. But I will say your response to him is one of the most oft repeated and stupidly childish people can consistently parrot. We've shown for hundreds of thousands of years how we can live without oil products. But try to survive without air, water or food. It is literally the exact same argument from the other side of the coin.
  22. So essentially people said build this pipeline no matter what And he did. And the jobbing done at the consultation process via the old government effectively nerfed this project for a short duration of time until the courts requests are met to their standards So essentially don't ask for something and cry when it happens. I'll absolutely vote for him over Scheer and his give Trump what he wants mentality. Because (and this is important) when you stick up to a foreign leader for your country, you're sticking up for your whole country. When you say give said foreign leader everything they want...you're no leader at all
  23. Thought I'd stop by again to let you know you're still in the wrong country and thread. trump thread is directly below this one, the country you're looking for is directly south of us. If you'd rather support or admire a person who desires the economic ruination of our country I cannot help you. But keep in mind one leader has tried to appease both sides doing everything including blowing $4.5 billion to ensure a project got done. the other is trump You know, the guy who couldn't even take a step forward on his own golf course without a cart
