  1. I agree. The people screaming loudest for war, the 2nd amendment and espousing the greatness of liberty justice and freedom are not the men they were in the 40s. When confronted with superior force they invariably run away
  2. It's less expensive to drink at home. plus i dont have to wear pants
  3. Ok then. You know...for a fact. Maybe I'll post some of the facts we locals know about you soon or? Some of the things I know For A Fact
  4. So. You know. For a fact that i didn't talk to associates of mine and bradens 2 days after the incident? Then braden not a day later via fb messenger In a place as small as penticton in a circle of tradesmen you know for a fact Impressive
  5. Well ya...obviously it's made up. Duh....
  6. So you have to blah blah blah You have a memory like blah blah blah If you're going to make a bold claim and impugne ANYONES credibility ya champ. You have to back it up. That's how life works. You make a statement, you make a claim. You better have what it takes to stand by it and back it up with facts, with more than edited cherry picked statements, the entire conversation leading to that point. I know a fair bit about a fair bit. I know if I am going to run my mouth I better have what it takes to back it up. Seems one of us two missed that lesson though. Now go get your proof or keep on yappin. You're really turning in to epitome of all hat no cattle Edit** I will say if you can produce the entire series of conversations leading up to what you claim I or others have said I will happily apologize to you and stand corrected. But....
  7. Prove it You like to talk a lot but now ya gotta prove it. We're all still waiting on the last 3 or 4 things you told people they said they posted that you'd find but...magically never did So, prove it
  8. Ok well I'll disect your nonsense one point at a time. 1. Your exact wording was "it was unfortunate" 2. You didn't post it because it doesn't exist. There's a vast difference. Get off your arse and find it please. If not sit down next time and stay silent 3. Claimed to speak? I worked with Braden Matejka (Madden) for almost 11 months he ended up shuttering all of his social media accounts because right minded people were threatening his and his fiances lives for simply being a victim in a horrific attack. He still lives in the Winfield area. Takes a real piece of work to dredge that up, but that's you so...meh 4. OMG ya I remember that, and look...https://nationalpost.com/news/politics/mps-in-line-for-2-3-pay-hike-about-five-times-that-offered-public-servants I cannot recall who was in power at that point, or who was in power when they decided to retroactively change the Pensions to ensure that specific MPs and cabinet members would be assured their take after the 2015 election. See, the thing about facts is they don't side with you very often. You keep using your opinion and skewed version of what was said but the fun part about the internet is that if you actually look, the facts are there. They don't change. Now you can either man up or shut up but either way I am rather done with you and your statements about everyone yet your utter inability or unwillingness to back those statements up. So if you'd like to apologize cool, but since you're obviously a real man you don't have to own up to when you are wrong right? Just let the facts fall by the wayside and insert opinion instead and hope it sticks
  9. Good. And rightfully so. She did literally EVERYTHING asked of her by her constituents and the feds as well as the regulatory commissions and still got shart on. Now she can pull out of a costly climate plan and at least save her constituents some money in the short term. Whether that is beneficial for future generations is questionable but for right now she has every right to do so and is exercising that right
  10. @Ryan Strome remember all your claims about me saying take all their guns away and how you'd come back with proof but you didn't? Yes I remember saying that. And I stand by it. Had the previous government not screwed up by revamping the approval process and then staffing the NEB and the regulators with inder Morgan employees and lobbyists we wouldn't really be here. I also remember yourself and many others stating this needs to get built no matter what. Then whinging when the "no matter what" turned out to be outright purchasing the pipeline itself. Hindsight is fun but hypocrisy is "funner"
  11. I saw this and laughed, but then stopped. It's easy to pile on Notley but she's done nothing but gone to bat for Alberta and Albertans. As well they came out of their recession and are leading the country again economically and in population growth without the assistance of high oil prices and oil royalties She'll be unelectable in the eyes of Albertans after spending to make up for over a decade of cuts and non spending but I think she's getting a lot more flak than she deserves and after she's out of office she'll have a decent legacy to fall back on in the history books. Debt aside of course
  12. Yet the right was screaming do whatever it takes to get this pipeline built Until they did whatever it took.... Both sides bungled this horribly
  13. In 2013 when Kinder Morgan was found to be guiding the assessment it was lambasted and even staunch members of the oil crowd said it would never pass approval unless the original assessment was scrapped and restarted. It wasnt. Here we are now. The "build this pipeline no matter what" crowd cried over the purchase and are now up in arms blaming Trudeau for all of this. Amazing
  14. No. Just asking in general. People keep making the comparison and im genuinely curious how they can compare the two
  15. Just curious....millions of immigrants let in to countries en masse vs a few thousands every month in Canada after being carefully vetted is similar how?
  16. Is. Professionals and citizens of those countries have a more valued opinion than a person sitting in a dank province in Canada
  17. His plan included pipelines east to west with refineries in Canada in each province with Petro Canada worked and run by Canadians. I always laugh to see people in the west complain about oil not getting to markets then blame Trudeau for it while watching our country sell oil to Americans at higher cost, then repurchased as finished product over selling it to other Canadians at a slightly more expensive discounted rate. People can make whatever statements they want. There was some constitutional issues for sure but the NEP would have saved this country a LOT of issues in retrospect
  18. No no. I'd say by definition this is a red herring, or at the very least a really poor deflection of sorts. Race has NOTHING to do with it. But I'd say with her endless interruptions during the event as well as her and her companions' frequent outbursts of the same nature. It was a courtesy that Treu Dough even bothered to give her the floor to speak. I sure as hell wouldn't have. I agree that FAR too often people on both sides simply shout their watch words to shut down conversation OMG you're a racist, conversation over. OMG you're a libtard; conversation over But in this instance. Her question was so poorly worded after being shouted out among comments about first nations people, anyone of less than..."christian orientation" followed by her demands of acknowledgement and acceptance of superiority of pure white quebecois individuals; that it honestly did not even deserve a response. even a poor one. By questioning or suggesting that race would have changed that paradigm at all is a red herring when the real question is how and why such groups with those ideals are not only growing in canada but also finding voices in seats of power. This woman was a worthless old racist who rudely interrupted a media event and when she finally had her question responded to was arrogant enough to think that the PM of our country should recognize the importance of pure white old stock quebecois over all. While our PM may have failed miserably to answer her question at least he gave her a chance to speak which may have been his biggest mistake. Any person hinting to or suggesting that money spent anywhere but on pure blood quebecers or white Canadians is essentially a waste that must be addressed is not worth the response. That's not a silencing of speech but just common decency
  19. Again not true. This statement only furthers the inter provincial divide helping tear this country apart. ANY Canadian province purchasing from another Canadian province does not hurt that region. The idea of selling to another Canadian province at lower market prices was unreal to Lougheed and Alberta. Yet selling to Americans at even cheaper prices to then buy back the finished product was preferrable Maybe had they just worked hand in hand instead of being selfish we wouldn't be having this energy east conversation. The claims of "not helping or benefitting that region" are ridiculous at best and outright lying and manipulation at worst
  20. Ya so that didn't answer the question I asked either. Let's try again shall we? You posted a cute yet completely non factual photo from a political organization of associated businesses blasting True Dough. Yet not once did they ask the more important question, of why Saudi Oil is bought by oil companies that is carbon tax and levy free, yet is immediately sold at the SAME prices as oil bought and sold WITH the carbon tax and levy If these businesses truly cared about their bottom line and people, they'd be asking why oil companies; competing businesses are gouging businesses and consumers by unfairly pricing essential products
