Looking at that list thinking wow what I wouldn't have given to have acquired Forsberg for Naslunds line. Naslund was a bada55 PIM muncher And if Pet Air Shawn can breach the top 10 in WJC scoring I'll be very impressed, even if he's top 20 it will be a success. Things have changed since the 90s and early 2000s where it was canada Sweden the US and Russia/Czech's

Lens cleaning can be done with any kind of glass cleaning solution that is safe enough for phones/monitors. But ensure you have a very soft microfibre cloth. The same kind you'd use to clean your reading glasses with to ensure a scratch free finish. I avoid UV filters as much as possible as without stepping in to the B+W price range of $200+ they tend to degrade the optical quality of the actual image and are mainly used for simple lens protection. For circular filters you'd be swapping your UV for your CPL anyways. CPL's better for use in cloudy conditions, moving or running water and reflections as well as forested environments with intermittent lighting. Anti static is a selling feature that doesn't matter much honestly. Hoya or Sigma within the $100 range is about right and both will do a quality job. For a few dollars more see if you can find a NiSi dealer like Beau Photo or Broadway Camera. They are the end all be all for filters IMO because their colour casting is so minial as is their vignetting.

I'd say yes to both. Still crossing my fingers that I wake up one day and the Trump thread is gone or locked in the same manner. It's like a horrible addictive guilty pleasure to slag each other in it but like any bad addiction it needs to go

I'm acquainted with a lady who is actually supporting a good portion of her monthly income now via iPhone-ography Computational programs now in iPhones are allowing for faux looking lighting/DoF that mimic various speed lenses and primes of pro DSLR's Simply put, the rise of phone photography has lead to the shuttering of Nikons point and shoot plants in countries with tax and tariff issues like China and Brazil during their restructuring as well as their killing off of the Nikon One in order to pursue a true mirrorless line up. Cell phones now average 12 to 16 MPs and Sony built sensors are now being introduced in almost every line. Leica has a camera specifically built for the Huawei line as well. Whatever your future purchase is, never EVER buy a point and shoot.

Uhhh no. Round here there is an animal 3 times as dangerous as the aforementioned cougar. The Billet mom The billet mom can be evidenced as the kinda gal that dated only hockey players, married a guy who played a little Junior A and now rec league and is an intense supporter of young men coming to stay in their homes to play hockey and study while away from home. Now while I know this is supposed to be a joke. I know quite a few billet moms in the area with..."histories" of this nature. Mrs. Robinson how could you!

For potential trade bait we have Gudbranson Vanek Baertschi Granlund Sedin Sedin Hutton Edler Tanev Burmistrov These are all names that most analysts and posters have brought up at one point in time or another in the last 18 months or since they were signed this season. I'd argue that benning has his eyes on obtaining a number of extra picks this year. As obviously most of those players won't be traded but there's 2 or 3 names on that list that would garner attention and solid returns that don't fit in to our future based on age, production, contract or redundancy of position
-
I'd argue the opposite. We've seen a small mountain of players that could never translate their play in European markets over to the NHL very well. We could very easily see Heiskanen/Petterson/Palmu/Juolevi fail to succeed in the NHL It's not out of the question at all
-
If Benning can accomplish that for $9.5 million or less a year and we can end up drafting top 10 this year again he'd have a statue built in his honour.
-
My only counterpoint on this is that we've seen OJ play and succeed in the west. We've yet to see Heiskanen do the same. Not to detract from what he's doing which is record setting but play in NA markets is vastly different

Rumour has it that the Arizona Coyotes have requested permission to speak to Jonah Gadjovich's prospect beard and are planning to offer it an ELC if it comes to play on their 2nd line for them. But only until his beard hits RFA and then they plan to trade its rights for Boesers flow

What am I supposed to respond to exactly champ? You're reaching back almost a month, tagging me in something that I have less than 0 desire to even read simply to what? What is your actual end goal here? To antagonize a person? To somehow promote this belief that you DIDN'T once say "I can't wait till he fails so i can tell all of you" about one of our former 6th overall prospects? Maybe you want attention or a friend but honey I sure as hell aint either to you so just don't even bother. You're incredibly negative, you don't argue you literally attack people with a differing point of view, you present no facts but instead jump on other poster's credible arguments in some vain attempt to justify your endless negativity because prospect X or Y wasn't the one you wanted. You literally gain nothing by asking me to come to this but instead just want to pick a fight or have a hug or...I dunno. In the future man simply do the smart thing. If you don't like a prospect, don't spend almost 600 pages telling people how crappy they are how you're oh so correct, how we shoulda picked prospect X or Y then completely vanish the moment they turn things around like a coward. If you cannot be positive or optimistic just be silent. Some of us actually follow and promote hope for ALL of our prospects, not just the ones that look to be doing well right now or immediately just because it puts you on some kind of alternative footing than your other 9 out of 10 comments. Now shove off ye

Not true at all, they jump WITH shoes, that way there's something to talk about when they wash up on shore 18 months later

Foolish? Please do bring up a single time you've done that to anyone who has called you out in your treatment of Virtanen. If anything you tuck your tail and scurry off every single time he proves you wrong with a grudging 1 line compliment when he has a good game. I'm the furthest thing from obsessed with but i have always been a supporter of our prospects. Even the failures Maybe you should simply learn to not commrnt if it isn't constructive and face your comments when proven wrong. As opposed to trolling the forum by going deep 6 when there isn't anything to criticize. While I should learn to pipe down and stop telling everyone they're wrong. Let us both work on that?

For anyone interested in new purchases. Canon is having a solid sale for the next 3 days on camera bodies and glass. Sony through Vistek in Ontario is marked down a fair bit as well. StrobePro lighting out of Calgary is currently ridiculous for lighting.stands and modifiers Happy shopping Photo of redhead for tribute.
-
No, it was yet another circuitous shot at the same line of prospects you've been sharting on for 3 years literally without cease. It's sad how obsessed you are. If Petterson was less than a PPG not for a second do any of us think you wouldn't be tearing him a new one too

3rd line LW while playing behind two top lines anchored by Crosby and Malkin.

Well...if you want to be technical here is a history of NHL draft #s at the 5th seed. If we're going by historical data we're going to be hoping to Howe that Juolevi and Petterson do in fact pan out lol http://www.mynhldraft.com/nhl-draft-picks/5th-overall/50509/ Although in all honesty it would be serendipitous to see the universe gift the NHL with 2 quality NHL players at the 5 slot as we haven't seen a purely generational talent since Jagr and arguably one of the best since Jagr at 5 is a toss up between Vanek/Wheeler/Kessel and Price Edit** Not to say a Price type player at another position wouldn't be great, but even top 5 in general sure isn't a guarantee but obviously having a solid amount of picks in the top 5 helps
-
Actually spoke to someone who had a refreshing idea about this. Extend the break between regular and post season by 3 to 5 days and have the non playoff teams scrap it out for the top 3 picks. All teams from 17th to 31st would play in a tournament style format for the top 3 spots. It would give fans something to absolutely cheer for, give the playoff teams 3-5 extra days to rest and ensure that no teams were simply shoving players out the door in order for better lottery odds. In essence you play your way to a top 3 pick over a week. I actually kinda liked the idea
-
I'm confused by that. It says Heiskanen has played 7 games with 11 points to OJs 5 games and 8 points. I thought they both had played more than that
-
No no man I meant Gudbranson not OJ lol As in replying to your initial comment about Guddy not Juolevi
-
Cause he's like a total bust man, analytics say so. Didn't you see like that red and blue dot that show how bad he is man?
-
I'm not arguing with you on their abilities or anything of the sort. I've been a proponent of not actively seeing success until 2020-2021 when we can say we've had 4-5 years of ok to excellent drafting beneath us. I am simply saying as so many others are that there are so many reasons that we don't need to rush him. I've spent 40 years watching this team rush things or jump the gun and for once we have an actual chance to do the opposite. 40+ years of non success doing things one way. Maybe we should try doing the other for a couple of seasons.
