  1. As per sportsnet he's going to Europe! Thats awesome. Will learn under Salo and play with palmu Best possible thing for him
  2. Pool Party at Jesse's!

  3. Hey man. How do you feel about guys like Ovechkin, Kesler, Kessel or any of the other snipers n the league who cannot create without play makers? Super curious
  4. heyyyyyyyy What bout the hippeh
  5. You know full well he's more Kovalev than Ovi. There's the strong possibility that he was a free pick up and cast off or addition in a future trade for Hansen. I think some people will need to come to terms with that possibility in time
  6. And nobody is saying he won't learn. But what people are missing is the simple fact that there ARE players who are offensively gifted who either cannot or will not learn that aspect of the game. Goldobin could very well be one of them.
  7. Kind of a poor argument bud Most gifted player in a generation, breaks the 10% +/- threshold once in his first 4 seasons. We're not talking about Crosby, we're talking about Goldobin. A poor mans Kovalev. You want to score you have to generate scoring chances. You want to know a sad fact about that, some players just will not be taught 2 way play. it took Ovechkin almost 5 solid seasons before he learned about that; instead allowing his spectacular offensive play and his solid line mates to ensure his mistakes were stifled. Even then his best statistical year defensively was the 1 year in which his 2 way play was most criticized But Goldobin isn't even a shadow of these two players so it's a silly argument to try to make. And in no way shape or form did I say playing with "2 way players" retards potential. It would allow for him to utilize and maximize his potential. So maybe there's a misunderstanding here but the point of my statement is that Goldobin is quite possibly one of those gifted players that will just not accept being told to play a 2 way game. That Goldobin might be better off if let to play a 1 way game while paired with 2 players who can play a solid 2 way transition game instead.
  8. Agreed, he has to step it up. I think he will in Utica for the most part. He might just be one of those guys who needs responsible line mates to shine though. At some point we're going to have to stop coaching the talent out of these kids and turning potential 70+ point wingers in to 35 point 2 way players. Also, hey man...nice sig for 4th overall baby!
  9. If you're ever having questions about editing processes or how does this work in Lightroom or Photoshop My suggesting is Unmesh Dinda. He's a kid out of Mumbai who is absolutely brilliant with his tutorials. He has a free youtube channel and is quickly (very quickly) becoming one of the most sought after instructors of digital imaging Link is here https://www.youtube.com/piximperfect Image taken in Summerland BC
  10. Sitting here patiently waiting for my frigging D850 to come in...editing wedding photos looking at lighting equipment. I hate waiting
  11. As I said before sir People who've never visited or have never spent any significant amount of time making grand assumptions based on things seen on media outlets with slants or agendas speaking opinion over fact.
  12. I've been watching him for 2 years in kelowna. The kid is a gamer for sure and I'll be watching him very closely this year as well as trying to give updates on other rockets not named Cal or Nolan Foote such as Kushniryk who as a rookie is really surprising but a HUGE kid. Seriously towers over everyone yet skates like a dream, Kyle Pow on D who looks like he can think his way out of bad situations so far and Korczak who I think while being the youngest guy on the team looks very promising. (Seriously...let's get Cal Foote from Tampa somehow)
  13. If that demographic holds true it really is interesting. My take was simply any time you add the population of Calgary to any area there will be problems in the early going
  14. I spoke earlier about this same issue. In the order f 1.1 million people entered Germany over the last 2 years or so All the media and the...more "ethnically interested" people here in North America can key in to are the crime rates and whteher or not they are migrant related. Adding over a million people or the population of a major city to any area/country is going to have profound effects. They completely ignore the crimes happening in their own cities and instead point fingers at other countries and blame migrants. Fabricate and perpetuate the myth of no go zones and more. I feel as though a lot of the bumps in the process as you stated over the next 4 years will have abated after people start integrating in to your society.
  15. Thanks for the link man. Very interested
  16. So that's that. Willie D chased him off in large part due to his coaching decisions. Glad he's not ruled out coming back
  17. Are the AFD that repugnant? Based on their platform they seem like the same kind here that supported Trump with his rabid anti everyone promises.
  18. And that's it. With over 32% Merkel wins another one. Now to figure out who to play ball with. The AFD looks rather frightening honestly. Threatening to punish anyone in government allowing refugees and war migrants in to germany Will be interesting especially with the SPD now entering opposition instead of working with her. Be interested to hear what @Lateralus91 thinks is the most common sense movement forward here
  19. By all accounts it appears as though it will more of the same or a maintained status quo. How much influence if any does what happens in the US have on German policy or opinion?
  20. So because you're to lazy to read the comments and my phone automatically populates a sentence for me you latch on like a labourer at the oil teet. You don't offer anything else but assume that the NDP in Germany is the same as the NDP in canada based on your first post in this thread, then to save face latch on to a phone error. Kinda sad Stromee. You'll do anything to throw shade at the NDP no matter what the name means or country of origin without even thinking
  21. So, you're saying that Merkel is almost certainly looking down the barrel of a majority or strong coalition. Seems fairly reasonable looking at the entire picture. It won't stop "some" from telling you you're wrong again though. Even though you reside their we've members who have friends of friends who like to claim otherwise
  22. Yes that is the party I speak of. We've the National Democratic party here in canada but they are left/far left depending on which prvince or level you look at. In your opinion is Merkel really in as much trouble as certain politically leaning outlets here in North America claim she is?
