  1. Every comment and move this far made by Ruthervin/Allvford has been almost identical to those of Benning/Linden. You could almost suggest or say there's a mantra from above forcing their hands. Or, it's been back to back delusional management groups committed to the same path to mediocrity
  2. Sign him for $1.2 million in the off season after trading him. Then trade him again Then sign him to a 1.25 million 3 years deal and let him retire here at home. 2 years if flipping home for decent returns and then let him assistant captain the team from the blue line until he retires
  3. This makes me sad because they're holding on to all of it and developing it all properly. Thompson is about the best dollar value contract over $6 million in the entire league with J Robertson behind him
  4. Look at that comments section of teet sucking ignorance in support of that. Yikes
  5. The people/party he is "not championing" have a vested stake in and monopoly on child abuse and exploitation based on recent events, charges, investigations and indictments
  6. Ya....no. he fired everyone that could capably do that. But hey. Keep believing my dude. What's he up to? Desperately fishing for attention and relevancy amongst societies most ignorant and disenfranchised using names of hot button individuals
  7. That's from april 7th. For reference. My dad died from covid. He was the highest possible risk category. Covid didn't kill him, it just exacerbated everything until his body just shut down. They explained this in depth very clearly when they made this announcement in that it would be counted as a cause of death regardless of which underlying conditions existed as they didn't have the manpower to do an autopsy on every single death from a high risk person who died due to or due to complications from covid. My dad, died from complications due to covid, but was listed as a covid death. It is not in fact wrong. Much like the little girl in Westbank who died from toxic shock/sepsis brought on by strep throat, or the young girl in burnaby who died from the flu (both within the last few weeks) who had full autopsies done as they were not high risk and had no underlying conditions. As they were young and healthy a cause of or proper cause of death was needed. There are variables and reasons why they made this announcement and why it in fact varies from case to case based on age and medical health.
  8. Gas is $1.53.9 in Westbank. In Peachland and Penticton it is $1.64.9 There again, is ZERO justification for prices being what they are like this espcially being cheaper in the GVRD and lower mainland than they are in the Okanagan right now considering the excises municipal and translink taxes on fuel purchases in the lower mainland that the rest of the province doesn't have.
  9. We spoke about this last season numerous times and it was and is one of the most gd head scratching things that former and current Canucks management has ignored. Here you have a local, big bodied hard skating RHD that may not put up huge points at the college level but is a free, count it FREE asset in the position most ignored by this club going back to 2004. Yet he is and has not even been spoken of outside of CDC and a few other Canucks related forums. In fact this might be the ONE time, the ONE time I have seen any publication mention his name at all. This is such a no brainer it is a wonder that the Oilers haven't signed him only for Canucks management release numerous stories about how they were in on him but ran out of time and had/have other ideas on the go.
  10. Schenn and Kuzmenko are the ultimate low cost high return assets the Canucks NEED to flip. Doing this with two assets a year will pay dividends sooner than later and there's literally no reason Schenn can't be re-signed in Vancouver after another cup run
  11. My outside suggestion is Horvat and Boeser going to Buffalo for Skinners contract, this and next years first Mittlestadt and a throw in. Buffalo then gives Horvat Skinners contract. Van sells Skinner as that perfect winger for Miller and hey Mittlestadt can do a pull up now so good 3rd line centre/Horvat replacement plus picks. This is absolutely a move I could see interesting Buffalo and I have no doubts with wtf has happened with van management groups since 2013 that this would be on their radar as sensible
  12. So wit this in mind. In order of who makes the most sense to go first and value for value Horvat Kuzmenko Schenn Myers Boeser Now with them all gone, this is the year to cash in we keep hearing afterall. We are picking top 5. No arguments with Demko down. Take the picks prospects for this and next year and be smart about it. Bedard/Fantili/Carlsson are good feasible replacements for Horvat.
  13. This is and has been a cap team since like 2008. That $2.4 million is an anchor for almost a decade. We moaned about Luongo let's not do this again
  14. the top 5 is looking like a potential historic draft group with almost every player being a potential #1 overall pick in a mid to strong draft class
  15. Starts at 12:20 https://www.sportsnet.ca/590/jeff-marek-show/
  16. They wouldn't do it for Miller. They aren't doing it for Schenn and Hoggie
  17. Here is just the last 2.5 years worth of wtf trades GMs made 2022, Rakell for Reese, Simon and a 2nd 2022, Copp and a 6th for two 2nds a 5th and Barron 2021, Lashoff for a 1st and 3rd. 2020, Skej for a 1st 2020, Martinez for two seconds 2020, Coleman for Foote and a 1st 2020, Zucker for Galchenyuk, Addison and a 1st Do I think we will? Not giving an opinion on that. Will I be shocked if he does? Not at all.
  18. Every time I hear about the "country club mentality" I think of Miller giving up on plays and walking to the bench. Boeser guilty of it too. That lack of urgency on defense from our forwards. If things don't go well then; it's someone else's problem or Demko will deal with it has to stop Looking forward to a cleaned house in the near future
  19. LMAO apparently the Avs are circling ROR or ROR has been suggested to the Avs. My favourite part of this is how last year Avs fans were saying Miller was a bum, too old, the ask was to much and as a UFA he had less value. Now they're suggesting a 1st 2nd and prospect for ROR is a good option. It's kind of amusing really
  20. At that point why not retain on all 3 Horvat 50% Kuzmenko 50% Schenn 50% It's literally just dead/worthless cap anyway to this team after the tdl and makes literally zero difference in our year if we do it
  21. If we can trade him and re-sign him in July that's value you can bank on
  22. Yes, aware. But it is still an eye opener to see that last name
