  1. Eriksson was very visible. Toffoli is the cost. Höglander has game though...
  2. Höglander - shifty, fast, skilled, what a pleasant surprise. Juolevi - wow. Just wow. A couple of gaffes and a towering, cool presence and made some seriously brilliant defensive plays. Holtby - Ian Clark for a couple of months and here we go. Very solid. He’s only going to get better. Schmidt - quick thinking with his pitch perfect passes. Harmonic - Hopefully it’s the utter lack of practice and game time. Looks like the Canucks have just picked up from where they left off, reinforced, fully healed and ready to go.
  3. Pretty good game so far. I’d say it’s the same caliber of any other opener so far.
  4. Man. Is that the old Edler - Edler duo??? Man I missed those guys.
  5. Send Eriksson to Utica, let him light the hell out of his resume so he can get picked up at the deadline.
  6. Sorry I missed the class. What is the taxi squad? Answered my own question thanks. “In sports, the practice squad, also called the taxi squador practice roster, is a group of players signed by a team but not part of their main roster.”
  7. I see Motte is ready for the season and is already in playoff mode. Cool.
  8. I would’ve said that had Trump gotten re-elected. However, with Biden being a recognizable face Internationally, I see a getting back to the same ententes which existed pre-Trump; China doesn’t let North Korea build a nuclear device, otherwise the US attacks North Korea, The US doesn’t let Taiwan declare independence, otherwise China attacks Taiwan.
  9. DUDE NEWHOOK 0 POINTS IN THE NHL PODKOLZIN 0 POINTS IN THE NHL MILLER - PETTERSSON - BOESER HÖGLANDER - HORVAT - PODKOLZIN HERE’S A COUPLE OF CONSOLATION PRIZES: #5, 2nd overall THIS ONE #7, 4th overall AND #23, 10th overall THIS ONE COUNTS TOO #9, 5th overall HONORABLE MENTIONS: GAUDETTE #149, 34th overall
  10. Well hopefully he’s fine for himself first and foremost. And yeah if he can handle it, by all means he ought to be on the team. I just have a serious concern putting historically unreliable players in this much more sturdy lineup. I wouldn’t want Stamkos on the Canucks for the very same reason. What would be the point of having one of the best players but part-time. Tanev is so good. But he is frustrating to no end. Calgary will soon find out.
  11. The physical strain is higher in the NHL though... so it’s not a question of if, but when he gets sidelined yet again.
  12. Baertschi is done. He’ll get another concussion soon. Not really his fault. It’s the way it is for him now.
