I really like Virtanen’s game these days. You see it on his face. He’s more serious. He is maturing in his game and most likely in his life too.
And we know that’s the case as Green sees him more and more as an asset than a liability.
Well done yet again Canucks, this time on player development.
Love my team.
Whatever it is, it needs to be done. To the East. The East would be better for Sutter. His body cannot take the rigours of the West and the extensive travel. Guy needs rest more than most.
I’d even say sit him out the entire season and let him fully recover. Fully.
I’m liking this idea more and more; sitting players who are prone to injury for longer than necessary for an even stronger health and a probably prolongation to their careers.
Rookie Brock Boeser in 2018
Rookie Pettersson in 2019
Rookie Hughes in 2020
The last time the Canucks sent three rookies in a row to the allstars was never.
Congratulations to Benning for drafting superstars.
So...
an 18 year old first liner for the Russian Federation brought in Silver?
an the Canucks own his rights?
Bring it on.
Add Podkolzin and Tryamkin to this team and the Canucks are efffin’naaasty.
Adding Podkolzin only, is a serious influx of nasty.
Markstrom is the undisputed number one goalie in this town.
The Canucks have worked very hard to up their goaltending game since acquiring Luongo.
Luongo
Miller
Markstrom
Goalie coach: Ian Clark
A sucking Kovalchuk is better than the five, six bottom players on the best teams.
Great signing.
It’s really cold in Montreal. He’ll feel right at home.
