  1. That game was a beauty. Everyone chipped in at his best. What impresses me most is how much this team disrupts play for the opposition. For years a lack of control of play has been my major complaint. By disrupting play so much, they control play. I absolutely love what I’m seeing. Pettersson finally scores. Hopefully he retains that newly regained confidence. He played a very strong game. OEL. What a beast of a defenseman. That guy knows. The Canucks also have an excellent high caliber energetic 4th line. They’re playing beyond and above what we’ve seen in recent years. And also DEMKO
  2. The Canucks have some pretty good relentless motors out there. They’ve become quite good at disrupting play and taking advantage of opportunities.
  3. Boy am I glad to ear my words on Pettersson. 2 goals. Perhaps this is the game where he turns it around!
  4. Yes. The GM who won the Stanley Cup as assistant GM in 1997, and as GM in 1998, 2002 and 2008. Thats more Cups than the Canucks’ number of Stanley Cup Finals appearances. That guy.
  5. Pettersson currently useless. Please stand by for more information.
  6. Who’s that guy that just scored? Ovech something… did they bring him up from the minors recently or something?
  7. Can we please have a real, experienced GM? We should’ve made a move for Holland when he became available.
  8. With the years on this board, I’ve figured out that the only fundamental reason the superstars who pass through town are view in either two ways: drafted, which then is “one of ours”, and everything else, which corresponds to “the other” by which none undrafted by us will ever be good enough. The Canucks are the proprietor of OEL. The last time I was so excited for a trade was Luongo. The Canucks have their top 2 Defensemen set for the next six years. Ekman-Larson, Hughes, and Demko, are the least of the problems on this team on its climb toward the playoffs. From what I’ve seen so far with Boudreau, is that the Canucks can danse with anyone. An Atlantic Division team is highly likely winning the Cup who’s season. But boy would it be great to be losing in the Cup final. That would have to be considered a success, let alone making the playoffs.
  9. That could be interesting… But Pettersson is 23 and Boeser is 24 and Rutherford wants to get younger. So they’re most likely staying. I just hope Pettersson gets it. He reminds me of Naslund in his very early struggles.
  10. Not one chance do Pettersson, Boeser OR Horvat get traded for a 1st only. That would be a crime.
  11. I think because Rutherford is the Canucks President, wherever the Canucks finish in the standing is of no matter. They’re getting 1st overall in the draft.
  12. So has the fire Boudreau movement started yet? A three game losing streak! Unacceptable! Should we meet at city square and call for his head? Threaten his family? Or is that reserved for GMs only?
  13. Even at 2.000MIL for the rest of the year it may be worth it. The dude’s a force. Sh!tty attitude… but a force.
  14. Ok so the Canucks have scored 5 goals and allowed 13 in the last three games. The defense definitely needs help, but scoring is also infectious and so is toughness. Should the Canucks sign Kane to get some toughness and scoring in the lineup?
  15. EP gave up when the Canucks didn’t re-sign Markstrom, Tanev and Toffoli.
  16. Yeah my dad’s heart surgery in Kelowna was delayed because the beds were taken by unvaxxed patients. That’s when it should be legal to pull their ventilators off. And store them in a van.
