  1. When moving goal posts, using "strawman" incorrectly and shifting blame doesn't work, ol' reliable Loui emoji is there.
  2. More excuses. Beauvillier has had no troubles adapting. How is Bo dodging any responsibility for anything? Lol. I swear this guy could punt a baby and y'all would blame someone else.
  3. This would be my guess as well. Florida hasn't been good defending this year and Carolina wants to win for higher seeding. As much as I would enjoy watching the Isles miss, I don't think the odds are good for Florida. Bob would need to stand on his melon and hope it's enough for at least OT. They have the tie breaker on the Isles.
  4. It's always someone else's fault. Hit this guy with the facts and just Loui reacted. Bo is a glorified passenger making 8.5mil. Guy in a must win, playoff style game had all his shots in 1 period and finished the game without a single hit or block. Was pretty much invisible, there are times I forgot he was even playing. But nope, other player's gotta do more. The guy with 16 points in 29 games, that signed an 8.5mil per year contract extension, that doesn't hit and turns the puck over more than takes it away needs help. He's not at all the problem.
  5. He had 5 shots in the first period, meaning he was a spectator for 2/3rds of that game cause had 0 blocks and 0 hits for the entire game. Lol. 8.5mil and he doesn't hit, doesn't play defence at a high level, doesn't block, and disappears late in games. He barely has over 0.5 points a game for his team that is fighting for playoffs. If you're making 8.5mil per it's not about not being a problem, it's about being apart of the solution. 1 assist late in the game when it's over doesn't do anything for anyone. He's not just overpaid, he's overpaid by about 2mil. If not more.
  6. Yeah, 2 points tonight and they would have punched their ticket. Isles and Pittsburgh have some gimme games to end. Florida has the Canes who are battling New Jersey for seeding. Starting to look like the Isles and Pens will make it. Unless the Pens sh*t the bed. Or Montreal does some spoiling.
  7. Bo and Garland turned back when they seen Burroughs and OEL were ready for war. Lol. "Oh sh*t, I better pretend I care too." I love OEL, and you know what. Burroughs has made me a believer. Deserves to be a 6/7 on this team.
  8. Fans are every bit as boring as the players I guess. Half the excitement of sports is cheering and booing. But we can't boo. We gotta be standup individuals, always show class, and be the better person. Gee, I wonder why the sport has country club vibes. Only rich white kids get into it, there's no animosity between players and between fans and players, fans cook other fans for being fans. I just don't get it. The sport lacks fire and we are seeing fans actively putting dirt on what little spark we get. "Don't be mean to Bo, makes us look bad. " He should have went full heel instead of half heel.
  9. Yes, white collar is the better wording. Rich kids that don't really have an edge to their game. Even the NBA has more animosity between players. They'll roast each other publicly, they'll style on each other in game. That game is immensely more popular because of the characters. We have no characters and it's to the detriment of the game overall. Yes, being fun to watch is one thing, but narratives and drama can carry the sport to another level of entertaining.
  10. It's times like this where I really wish NHLers weren't these blue collar dudes. Lol. If I were Bo, I would have hardcore gone full bad guy here. Look how much buzz this topic has generated and he barely said anything. There's a reason why some of the UFC's biggest stars are the bad guys. Look at Chael Sonnen, Conor McGregor, the Diaz brothers on occasion, and Michael Bisping. The bad guy sells harder than anything. It's why the UFC is this big monster, and the WWE where this idea originated is a monster. They realize the power of the bad guy. NHLers, they don't understand. They are all there to play hockey and keep to themselves. Which is fine, but it's why the NHL will never really become a sports powerhouse. We are anti-fun and our players are sticks in the mud. We need more players taking shots at other teams and other players in the media. Former players taking the piss out of their former teams. I never expected Bo to double down, but I wish he never walked his comments back. It was a fun talking point that now amounts to nothing. Who cares if he dislikes former management, we do too. Oh well. Back to your regular scheduled programming of hating Myers I guess.
  11. The last part contradicts the rest of it. In order for the heel to work we need to be mad at him and root against him. Like, what does he gain by being a heel towards a management that doesn't have a job? Lol. But the rest of article or quote or whatever is some high and mighty garbage about how fans are ruining the fun by being mad and rooting against him. Is he the heel or the sympathetic victim? He can't be both. I dislike what he said but like that he said it. He ruined it by walking it back though. I guess he didn't want to embrace the bad guy role. So he's a bad heel.
  12. I mean, looking at what he got, I'd say they offered him a fair contract, and he said no. Lol. But I get what you mean.
  13. Dang bro, the few of us still supporting this guy are fully off that bandwagon now. Lol. I seen this video on Reddit and had to make my way here. What a weird thing to say. Cause we easily can just point to the fact he was here like 8 years and gave us F all to cheer for. What were we supposed to cheer for lottery picks? What a wiener. Whatever. I think it's clear as day who he is as a person. Only cared about getting paid, and he did. Good for him.
  14. They do seem to like 43. Jack Hughes is 86, which is 43x2. Quinn and Luke obviously seem fond of 43. I wonder what number they'd use if they were all on the same team. Lol. Quinn said he likes the number 6 in one of the NHL personality videos. Jack said he likes the number 43 in that same video. Interesting family, I think Jack is my fav of the brothers. He seems so happy and bubbly. Must be a middle sibling thing
  15. Nice to see Lekkerimaki show up in the playoffs. Still not fond of the pick. But hey, doesn't mean I want to see him fail. He's a scorer that needs to be scoring to have an effect. Still intrigued by his development.
  16. Bigger Quinn Imagine if we tanked properly. We could be looking at a world where we have all 3 Hughes brothers. Instead, we're in the timeline where New Jersey is most likely to end up with all 3. I really hope we can keep Quinn for his whole career though. Maybe we can poach Jack when his 8 year deal expires. Patience my friends.
  17. Liking the college kids. Solid additions. Demko, looking back to form. Still hoping he only plays one more game this year. If that. With that said, hard to lose to the Blackhawks, literal embarrassment to the league. If they or Anaheim get Bedard, I will be so pissed.
  18. I mean, I wanted Miller traded. But I wanted Miller and Horvat traded. Lol. I was team rebuild. But for the sake of a retool. We absolutely made the right moves so far. Horvat out, he wanted too much and we have Miller locked up. Miller can drive his own line on a higher level too. Trading Miller at this point doesn't make sense. Cause not only can he fill the 2C spot. He can fill the 1LW spot too if/when we draft a center in this draft. [BEDARD COME HOME.] Miller has tenacity and energy. I just don't see us replacing a guy that versatile that we have locked up on a good if not great contract. As long as he keeps his cool, he's a great asset for a retooling team to have.
