Never liked the Turris trade always thought he was overrated. Colorado laughing right now.

He's has to be on LTIR to start the year and probably for the remainder of the year but after that he might try to come back.

How did his price go up? A team with a ton of cap just traded for a goalie. One of the teams who could have offered him a huge contract is now gone. His price is going down.

Hasn't done anything special? He led his team in scoring and scored 20 goals in a season, twice, as a defensemen. He's literally been the offense in Arizona. A team that struggles to score.. on a team that can put the puck in the net he is a 60-70pt defensemen.

Yea that was poorly worded I was meaning if he signs an offer sheet he can't be traded and Tampa would only be able to sign him or let him go for compensation. I have never seen a player who signed an offer sheet get traded I can't imagine its legal to do that.

I might be wrong but I don't think he can be traded once he is offersheeted. I have never heard anyone say that. You'd hear about that anytime a player was offersheeted "oh, they are seeing how much they can get from via trade now" this doesn't happen.

Ferland is not getting traded. He has a NMC and his agent has said he intends to continue playing. He isn't going to waive it.

Because the owners apparently haven't been paying their players ontime and are behind on arena payments so it's all about $$$ and not cap hits.

They aren't moving him for cap reasons. They are moving him for $$$ reasons. That is a huge difference.

With that statement if Boston let's Krug go to FA he is gone. So really they have between now and Friday to decide if they want Krug or OEL and judging by how long they've prolonged this I'd say they want Krug more.

Okay? That doesn't change that when we traded Kesler we got a pretty decent return for him. 2 NHL players and a 1st and third.. That is a solid return for a player that really only wanted to go to one team.

One of those players can be signed with OEL and JB likely wants that to be Markstrom. Friday comes and FA hits and we haven't gotten OEL then Tanev and Toffoli can be negotiated with like any other team can talk to them.. it's not a big deal. If someone offers them a big contract you let them walk. Boston is a true contending team and if they lose both OEL and Krug there isn't much to replace those guys for them.. They need one or the other.

We didn't get fleeced. Bonino + Sbisa + 1st + 3rd for Kesler + 3rd. The trade Proposals people are giving here are nowhere near as good as what we got for Kesler.

They are negotiating with Krug and now they will have to expedite their negotiations and possibly overpay because if they don't OEL will be off the table come Friday... This favours Vancouver. Boston might just walk away completely now.

One thing that is clear here Vancouver media has proven they are absolutely clueless like Andrew Walker who said Vancouver was OEL's number 1 choice and that has since been swatted down along with a lot of other crap they've tweeted/discussed. I have no idea how these guys have jobs.
