  1. Maybe, he's trying to promote a trade, by talking himself up.
  2. Schaller might go before him when Sutter returns.
  3. As someone said before, he, Beagle and Gaudette will make a great 4th line.
  4. What is his injury? Missing two games, what's up?
  5. This has to be the defining moment of the entire G20. Two thugs high fiving, and getting their jollies with each other. Kinda like, hey you did it, I didn't think you had it in you. Meanwhile the worlds greatest leader ever, won't even meet with these two, and call them both out. Wonder why??
  6. 4.3 yesterday, in Fort St. John, pretty significant for that area too!
  7. Also, was it the Japanese leader that congratulated Donald on his huge wins in the midterms??? Fun times.
  8. I have bills to pay each and every month like all of us on this board. We're both retired and have pensions, if that's "doing great financially", then I guess we are. If people wanted jobs, instead of wanting CEO money at each and every job interview, then I'd have a bit of sympathy for them. Stock market??? I don't know about you, but, the stock market has never been so volatile as it has, since the down turn of '08. Helping Canadians? Welfare, social programs, job training, there are things in place, folks have to look for them.
  9. Warhippy, to hear Albertans talk, you'd never know that, as did I. This is why I despise, Kenney, Scheer, Harper, Wilkinson, and any other Conservative leader. There answer is cut business taxes, and business will thrive. No, they'll line their pockets, and move when things go south.
  10. Four generations of loggers in Kelowna, and Princeton, if that's generalizing. An arena named after one as well. A rodeo ground named after another. Now I'm beginning to feel like Topper Harris.
  11. Even though their economy is in the dumpster, they can't accept a sales tax. Go figure!
  12. I heard $100M bandied about, now I'm not too sure if that's per year, or whatever deal is made with KM. That's what our cost is going to be. They can export sludge through our Province, yet we pay the freight. A tanker goes down, a pipeline decides to burst, I guess that's all on us in BC. But then, we'll pay for the disaster at the pump regardless.
  13. I can blame CC and the BC Liberals for just about all that's wrong in this Province. How about doing nothing while, and this is only an estimate, how $5B dollars managed to find it's way into BC real estate, luxury cars, and the casino's without doing nothing but patting themselves on the back with their economic numbers. Or, her 5 conditions for the pipeline, which amount to nothing more than lip service. As well as paying off the First Nation bands along the pipeline route. On top of all of this, Trudeau comes in prior to becoming Prime Minister, saying NO tankers will go down the Coast of BC, if he's elected. Yes, the raw logs export is nothing short of criminal, but how about allowing all of the sawmills, Oil companies, Natural Gas companies, being bought up by foreign investment? I care about the lumber industry, a hell of a lot more than most Albertans, as many of my family are still involved in it. Small town BC used to be alive with mills and logging contractors.
  14. My oil cousin in Alberta keeps blaming Notley and Trudeau for all their woes, and their failure to get the pipeline pushed through BC. One of his responses to our high gas prices was, "build the pipeline". I asked him several times about that huge Heritage Fund that Alberta once had, all lost because of Prentice and the lady Premier before him. Crickets. No one in Eastern Canada, or Alberta was on our side when our lumber industry hit the skids, certainly not Stephen Harper, Paul Martin, or Jean Chretien.
  15. That SOB is the reason this Country is completely divided over the pipeline. Had he and his band of misfits on the NEB done their due diligence we wouldn't be in this mess today. Trudeau, though has really stuttered and stammered his way into a huge mess by buying the damn thing. When, and if, its completed, I see a price tag of around $20B, and our oil worth $20US a barrel, what could go wrong?
  16. These two dummies are why I loathe Conservatives. They've taken a page from the Republican Party...God and Country, and try to spin that as family values. I've never needed God or anyone to tell me what is right and good, so I sure don't need Andrew Scheer to tell me that I do.
  17. Even medical professionals dealing, and treating concussions have no idea what the time line is, what triggers them, or why some recover quicker than others. That said, watching him when he skated off the ice and seemed to be chirping either the officals or the guy who hit him, I can honestly think that none of us thought he would be out for this long. When Malkin hit Willie Mitchell, when Moore hit Naslund, you knew right of the bat that something was serious. I've seen the effects of concussions first hand. This person I know has been dealing with one for over a year and a half after a fall. That fall combined with a few knocks to the head from down hill skiing have taken there toll. The pittance the NHL is offering those plaintiffs in the lawsuit is laughable. These peoples lives are ruined to the point where I don't think they know what a normal life is, or should be. Andrew Alberts, is a prime example, as is Marc Savard.
  18. I said when camp broke, that he'd be up in Vancouver around Christmas.....right on schedule.
  19. Thanks, he's best suited in the AHL.
  20. Clipping along at a point per game....not too shabby! I want to know how he learned to shoot that puck, slapper and wrister, so damn hard and accurate.
  21. What in *ell do I know?? Kid stays up, Hah!
  22. I once was all for Adam staying up in Vancouver, but, until this team gets settled, I think it might be best for him to spend some time in Utica. As others have said, playing 15-20 minutes in all situations will do the kid wonders. He's not far from being a really good NHL player.
  23. If he's on his feet that 3rd goal doesn't go in.
  24. The clock has to be ticking for the Todd McClellan tenure in the Coiler camp. I feel sorry for the guy, that's been handcuffed with guys like Lucic. You have to wonder how McDavid is going to fare with this clusterbunk. I watched the last period tonight and can't believe how bad they are. I honestly wondered if RNH was dressed for the game, and until he was shown on the bench, he was unnoticeable. Talbot giving up 6 goals..... Canuck fans bitch and moan about this team, the Oilers are healthy, and are playing like doggy doo!
