Too bad people wouldn't see your reasoning.

Holy *hit! Now that's some serious snowfall! Clear around your exhaust pipes, and vents around your house, stay safe.

Lougheed hwy, going through Lake City in Burnaby is like a parking lot. We drove down Gov't Road, nice little Mercedes Benz parked in the trees off the road. This car won't work, I'm going to buy a better one. SNOW TIRES, PEOPLE, they come in handy on days like this.

Just throwing this out there. How many of you would take Brent Seabrook over Edler, at this stage of their careers??? Just on contract alone, I'll take #23.

I've been around long enough to remember "PRIVATE INSURANCE" campaigning hard to get back into the BC market in the days of "MINI WAC". Helicopters circling the towers of CKNW and hearing Gary Bannerman telling them to get lost. Bill Bennett was one of the most Conservative leaders this Province has ever had, and he found it necessary, or didn't get rid of, or use ICBC as a cash cow. That recent bunch of "Liberals" love to tell us how they're good fiscal money managers, nothing could be further from the truth. Funny how these questions never reached the candidates throughout their leadership race.
-
Everyone of those Conservatives running in the leadership race should have been asked if they would pay back that $1.3B they took from ICBC to balance the books for the past 17 years. Not one of them was asked, or held accountable for this debacle. Right Mike DeJong????

What a great guy to have on the roster. Comes in and doesn't look out of place at all. The thing I like about him is, that he'll take guys on that are twenty pounds heavier and 5 inches taller than he is.

I've only seen on SHL game live, and I can tell you it's very chippy hockey, not in the least a walk in the park. So much more so than the NHL game is. Lots of stick work, kicking skates, almost to slew footing level. If he's playing against these guys now, he's got a very good chance to succeed in the NHL. The only thing that I did notice, no one dropped the gloves.

Imagine that expansion team, if the Canucks were lucky enough to get that guy that ended up in Buffalo, cough, cough. Tallon was a very good pick, in fact until Kurt got injured they were close to be a playoff team. They were a tough team to play against too. Tallon was probably the best Dman on the team. I'll never forget one of their draft picks back then, Bryan McSheffrey, poor kid got thrown into the lineup, completely over his head. One shift he ended up in the other teams bench, after a big hit. I don't think he was in the Canucks plans much after that. That management team as you said was like the key stone cops, all the draft picks were put in Canuck uniforms right off the bat. Tallon and Lever were the only ones that proved they belonged in the NHL, and to some extent Bob Dailey until injuries set in. Phil Maloney wasn't that bad a coach, but with a lack of a farm team, unlike the shared teams that NHL teams employed it was no wonder fans were frustrated. Like me!
-
Wasn't Peter Andersson a Canuck draft years back as well? Rahimi and him on the same team.
-
By far too! I cringed when he hit the boards though.

Looks like the Caps got a good one in the later rounds, the kid with the flow. He's fast, tenacious, and really plays at a high level.

If I'm not mistaken, Bure took his knee out, on very bad ice conditions. He was chasing the puck behind a net, and the ice was so bad, a big chunk broke out. His speed wasn't ever the same after that. I don't remember him being hip checked or anything like that, do you? Did this happen in Japan? I think the Canucks played a couple of preseason games over there, and that's where his first knee injury took place.
-
That was one of the things I noticed in last years tourney, he's up to speed in two to three steps.
-
I wonder how many of us could name the entire TC roster, let alone every other team in this tournament? You're focused on #11, he's got his eye on the entire ice surface. If you don't want to hear him, turn off the sound.

Throw in the experience of Granlund, which certainly helps Virtanen and Gaunce get their feet wet. IMO, he's a steal of a player for Benning and Co. The third period stats as far as minutes played is more evidence of Green's trust. The culture of this team is really showing up, and I think that Green has everyone on the same page.
-
Comparing Gaunce to a year ago, is like night and day. High minutes, effective 4th liner, very effective PK'er, and very hard on the puck and stick. First game I've seen him live was last night, very impressed with his skating, and line support. Green is a big fan too, for the reasons stated above. It isn't all about goals and assists.

One team that we all might watch is Chicago. Their vets are getting up there, Toews, Seabrook, Keith, and Kane, I'm not sure that they have the depth in their oranization to make many more runs at the cup with this group. Bowman is a master though, but....

I don't think we ever got to see a healthy Rodin. Best of luck, Anton, hope the hockey gods look out for you!

Saw them in Vancouver, same tour! On the floor at BC Place, sound was incredible for that barn. Tshirt was 30 or so bucks, still folded in my drawer. I keep stubs too, concerts and sporting events.

Far too many to talk about, the first act I remember seeing was Bobby Vee at the PNE, circa 1962. The first concert I ever went to was Iron Butterfly at the old PNE Forum. I've seen Pink Floyd and Roger Waters 3 times, Neil Young, Rod Stewart, David Bowie, George Harrison, Elton John, 6 times, Fleetwood Mac, the Eagles, Maria Muldaur, Deep Purple, the Dead, and the Stones to name a few. Regret not seeing, Queen, the Beatles, and Tom Petty. I know I'm missing many, as a few were back up groups for these headliners.

After Boeser broke his skate blade, to me he looked like he was skating on concrete. Don't think they got the proper blades on his skates, something was amiss.
-
When Edler comes back, Biega goes back to the pressbox. He does what he does best, a short term relief guy. Where it gets interesting is Stetchers return, but it's a good decision to have to make. I don't see the Canucks giving up on Hutton at all. He's having a good bounce back season, and if I'm not mistaken was the high minute man last night.

Small, fine flakes in Burnaby right now. It is December?

That was one hell of a game! Houston has a winner, however, so does Seattle.
