  1. Now that the smoke has cleared and the season is done dare I say I think Willie should be back next year.  No coach could've gotten this team into the playoffs this year, give him his final year and if there is no improvement in terms of points and special teams then don't renew his contract.

I know my opinion is in the minority but this team is just entering rebuild mode and despite what most think Willie is a great teacher for our youth.

I have a feeling he'll be canned just to appease the masses.

there are some legit arguments to be made to move on from Wilbrod, its not all torches and pitchforks. His stubborn approach to the PP for example did us no good, and are left to experiment starting next season when we had 10 games to do so now.

What worries me is his tendency to reward players who "play it safe", while punishing those who take risks. While safe plays are generally a good thing, I fear that we'll never get past being an "okay" team if our young guys have that mentality ingrained into them to the point that they simply stop taking those types of risks all together.

Willie is unfairly vilified here by fans for sure, some odd moves at times but he's also trying to teach players to compete night in night out. He's done a fine job developing alot of our young players in a very challenging situation roster wise and scrutiny wise. I'd like to seem him given his final year to see what he can do with hopefully a healthy and more experienced roster. You can't judge a coach as good or bad when he's gone through 40 players in a season. The players never quit on him, and to me that says a great deal.
