Well he'd be an assistant and Buffalo continues to suck so I don't think it was all on him.

They continue to suck you say?  Have you stepped into Trump's alternate reality?  2nd place with no regulation losses, most goals scored, best differential.  They're definitely going to slow down sooner or later because they have mediocre goalies, but they aren't "continuing to suck" as of right now...

So far Krueger looks to be an improvement over Housley.

You missed my quote saying Buffalo is the only team I'd cheer for other than the Nucks

I was thinking about maybe how Housley would work as an assistant for us, can mentor Quinn, help on the blueline and the PP but I see he's in Arizona now.  I still think we could use some new assistants and keep Green.

One of the big Oilers mistakes (and boy....have they made a TON) was firing Krueger when he had them going in the right direction.  Worse, the Coilers double-down by hiring Dallas Eakins next!

And as a Canuckfan, I thank jeebus for that.:P

@Tre Mac He helped turn Nashville's defence into a powerhouse so I'd imagine he could do the same with the Canucks, but there could be a new head coach next year if the Canucks don't make the playoffs so it would be a better idea to hire Housley as an assistant along with a possible new head coach.
