Guess I am the minority here as I am a Canuck fan first and a TC fan 2nd. Winning the gold medal in 2010 was fun dont get me wrong but if the Canucks, sorry when the Canucks win I wont be able to speak for a week because I will have lost my voice and be nursing the worlds worst hangover. A gold medal for arguably hockey's greatest power just cant compare to the first ever SC title for a franchise thats been around for over 40years. So hell yea I am choked when TC slaps Lu in the face and plants him to the bench in favour of a goalie who they have zero evidence that he's the better option. Then again Lu could be playing for the Leafs of all teams right now and I'd still feel the same way just not be as passionate about it.

Yes. How many has been apart of the Luongo drubbing, like 4 players on this team but that pales to the 20 he helped win a gold medal. So 4 have witnessed the flood gates but 20 have witnessed the stone wall. No doubt in my mind that the players believe in Lu more than Price and this game is evident of it.

It does matter... If you are a forward on team Canada and you have less confidence in your goalie your are going to take less chances offensively. Its a trickle down effect. Thats why I posed the question earlier if TC should go with Lu if they squeak by 2-1.

Just think of all the Latvian children watching this now wanting to become hockey players. Thats a good of reason as any to have hockey in the Olympics.

Brady needs a deep threat like the Sedins need a sniper. Failure to get either is just wasting thier talents. 0-3 in the superbowl for Wes Welker, good. Chokefest for Manning, good.
