    Lazar makes the most sense, a cheap 4th line RH C that can kill penalties is actually a very pressing need for this club atm. The rest is too costly and we all don't want a repeat of Rousell and Beagle, overpaying for grit.

      @smithers joe I think the heat will come once the Miller trade is concluded.  Vancouver will be a very hot place after that...

    RIP. Brock was around the same age I was when I lost my mom from cancer. Although losing a loved one is always tough there is some solace knowing they're finally able to be at peace.

    Yikes lol, gotta pay those tickets. I fought a ticket for walking on the tracks but they set the court date for the first day back on the year. I never showed up so when I went to renew my insurance and pay it they said there was no ticket registered. Guess they threw it out.

    Yup, Scatchard and Peca too around that time. I was a Whalers fan back in the day and I remember him fighting Daniel's. One of the rare games I went too.

    Upvote for trading Miller because I think it needs to be done on or before draft day. Iffy when a prospect gets a concussion though.

    My throat is definitely buggy and I have been sneezing a ton but I took my first ever rapid test and it's negative. Throat isn't sore like having a cold but I have a runny nose as if I had one. Last Thursday Friday my gut got rocked but I figured that mightve been food poisoning.

    I don't miss alcohol one bit but then again I am heavily into the herb. The hangovers and the queasy stomachs, I used to get major gut rot mixing all that vodka with powdered iced tea - I cringe just thinking about that now lol.

    Usually most reports scouts make on players is accessible to NHL brass. If Delorme is pointing out Jagr is superior to Nedved but the GM goes over his suggestion and take Nedved then Delorme can bring this up when the new boss comes in. This is why some scouts get fired while others get promoted. Delorme was instrumental in vouching for Petey apparently.

    Overall liked what was said but they have a lot of work to do. My overall take was it was refreshing hearing proper ideas articulated Cleary. Glad they're not too enamored with BB, I think it's best for both parties to walk away now. Hope they re-sign Boeser and Horvat and move Miller and Garland this offseason.

    It's really a reason I don't post here much anymore, BB is criminally underrated in this market. He's our best winger, solid playmaker and pretty effective at board play but screw that because he's slow apparently. He had a bad season in a year that wouldn't of mattered regardless with this team and everyone piled all over the kid. Eff that, I know this guy will be scoring 40 a year soon, I just pray it'll be with us.

    It'd be the Canuck thing to do to re-sign him and watch his value erode, personally I hope he gets traded - this roster needs a lot of work and he can still bring in a massive haul. But if this team just wants to try and replicate what they did in the 2nd half of the season it will blow up in ownerships face just like when they thought bringing Benning back for an all-in playoff run was the smart thing to do.

    Still my best parking job came on my road test, parallel parked in front of a group of people having a BBQ. I can't park and owning a pickup doesn't help
