You're probably right but Eriksson's best, most effective stats were with Horvat and Pearson. At least there's successful evidence for Green to lean on if he's looking to make a change. May not be popular but that line worked.
I won't be surprised if Green puts in Eriksson tonight and reunites him with Horvat and Pearson. They were really effective together earlier this year.
We need to win this one! More importantly, we need to believe and know we can win.
Also our stars have to dig deep and be stars. Petey, Miller, Hughes, Boeser, Horvat, Toffoli have to put points on the board.
Everyone needs to be all in tonight!
Good points. That's the way it's always been with him, though... it's a fine line for him to walk. When he's most effective as a pest, he can be a game changer in shutting down offense. Really depends, too, on how the game is being called.
Still, I believe we need guys like Roussel and Ferland to keep pushing those boundaries - testing those boundaries - but it's also up to Green to know when to reel them back. I hope Green is really communicating with both of them today.
Which is a problem from the standpoint of expecting him to contribute any other way than what he does best ... his offense has always been a bonus. We need him to 100% focus on agitating.
He's an amazing agitator, sh** disturber when he's allowed to use it ... rather than tough guy ... we need use that in him to keep them off their game.
