Alot of players do not live where their team is and just stays with a teammate during home games... he likely stays with pearson. I doubt he would make a decision based on that.

honestly one way we could keep toffoli would be to trade a longer contract for Simmonds whose contract will be off the books this year. we would put a sweetener in obviously. NJD seem like they are willing to wheel and deal. Roussel+ Prospect for Simmonds Works perfectly. Even if the prospect was something like Lind I would do it to keep Toffoli.

Toffoli can start out as a rental but if he gels with the team it opens up doors for a new contract.

I feel more comfortable with Demko in net than Marky. Marky has some great games but when he is bad he is bad.
