    Most scouting reports says he can be. But I guess it depends how well we can develop him.

    I wouldn't say he has a bad hockey IQ. If he did then he probably wouldn't have scored 45 goals. He knows when to use his speed and can see a play develop before it happens to get in the right area for a pass. He doesn't have bad hockey IQ, he just needs to learn how to use his teammates more.

    So this is Benning`s future Chara? Played full time in the KHL as a 19 year old. I really like this pick, hopefully he becomes more than a depth defenseman. Also, will he be able to play in the Young Stars Tourney? Edit: Benning said he's 6'7.5" and 265lbs. That could make him one of the heaviest players in the NHL.

    Baby, He was born that way. He also has a cleft palate but its actually been healing up very nicely, which is rare. And he is blind in one eye.

    Jensen needs to earn top 6 minutes the same way Kassian has earned it. Rookie's rarely start on the first line, even Mackinnon was on the Avs third line for 20 or so games. Switch Jensen with Burrows or UFA, and put Sedins on the same line.

    Botch on team 1040 this morning hinted that Tanev is the roster player. Says Tanev wants to get paid. Also said the plan was to get the 10th from Anaheim to replace Shinkaruk in the 1st overall trade. Also said Anaheim hasn't put #10 back on the table (yet..)
