  1. Calgary's and Edmonton's NHL sites have good coverage of the top prospects at the combine if you are interested.
  2. Would you guys do Tanev+6th for 1st Overall?

Yea I really want us to trade up for first overall. We have all the pieces Florida needs.

why don't we take Tanev out and put another and the 6th for the 1st.

  3. I wouldn't mind taking Vladislav Kamenev if he fell to 36th. I know he's Russian but he's done an interview saying he will come to NA to play in the CHL/AHL. http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=721117
  4. They have Ritchie's weight on the combine site. http://www.topendsports.com/sport/icehockey/nhl-combine-results-2014.htm NICHOLAS RITCHIE PETERBOROUGH OHL LW 6' 2.25" 226
  5. He's just tweeting short bits from the interviews. Better than nothing though.
  6. https://twitter.com/AAVickers ... This guy is interviewing players at the combine. Supposed to be interviewing Virtanen soon.
  7. I've heard the top 12 is filled with 1st line potential players, top 6 is elite players. McDavid, Eichel, Hanifin and Kylington supposedly have franchise potential. Not sure about overall depth though... checking out the rankings and some of the players (CHL) in the 2nd round have the same amount of points in their rookie season as players in this years draft ranked out of the top 5 and below... could be as good as 2013 in terms of depth... This player is ranked 48th, Blake Speers, had same or higher amount of points in rookie season as Perlini, Virtanen, and Bennett Here's Rankings. http://www.draftsite.com/nhl/mock-draft/2015/
  8. Don't speak so much words Tearloch, you will upset the Divine One!
  9. Gaunce is very consistent too. never went more than 2 games without a point. 1 game without a point: 12 2 games without a point: 4 I really like Gaunce he's one of my favourite Canucks prospects. He has the brains and skill to be a 2nd LW but I think a 3rd C is more likely. Ya never know tho
  10. TB's coach Jon Cooper only coached in the AHL for 2 years, and never coached with an NHL team so I thinks its more the fact that a good coach can win at any level no matter the experience they have. Desjardins seems similar to Trotz (but a more up-tempo style), in the way that he finds his players strengths and goes from there. A lot of his former and present players have come out to say how great of a coach he is. The only bad thing I've heard of him is that he doesn't like talking to media. He would also have Gulutzan, who he was an assistant coach for in Dallas, to lean on. Eakins is a hot-head, he's too busy worrying about his hair and making sure he is eating all organic rather than coaching his team.
  11. I don't think your going to last too long on this board...
  12. Kinda of OT but... Putin's got game! Sign this guy! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TUdYCzdpzdY#t=91
  13. If we were picking around 15-20 then I would be all for it but no chance those three go in the top 10.
  14. LOL. I actually don't care who we pick. I'm happy with Ritchie, Ehlers, Virtanen, or Nylander. But at the end of the day it's likely one of Dal Colle or Draisaitl fall so hopefully we take one of them.
  15. Granlund was 5lbs heavier and 1 inch shorter. you're an idiot. http://www.nhl.com/ice/page.htm?id=59885.
  16. I would say next top 5 are(in no order): Mckweon, Honka, Sanheim, Brycen, and DeAngelo. I'm hoping Honka falls to 36th. He's undersized for a defenseman at 5'11" and this was his first season in the WHL.
  17. Yeah in Belleville he was there go-to-guy and when he got traded to Erie he was stuck under McDavid, Brown, Fox, and Burakovsky
  18. Yea I would pass. He got suspended twice for bullying a teammate. Benning ain't got no time for that.
  19. Insane wrist shot on this kid, scoring goals 50 feet from the net.
  20. No. I was focusing more on the weight than on the height since both Nylander and Ehlers have a height that is manageable in the NHL. My bad I should have been more clear.
  21. Black Hawk Down.
