  1. The whole Lotto line is concerning right now. Among others as well, so he’s not alone. If he’s still playing like this when everyone else has finally found their stride, then I’ll be more on his case. But until then, I’m fine with his team leading points.
  2. Maybe he’s giving too many $&!#s and is just overly frustrated and thus giving up too easily?
  3. It sounds like a Boomer support group in here. Lol
  4. He’s too old. Kidding! Man I wished we had drafted him that year… It was Chuck or Serg for me that year.
  5. Another great example is Mark Giordano. He is also currently 38 and had his PEAK season as a 35 year old with 74 pts in 78 games. Not to say OEL will duplicate these trajectories, but if he keeps his legs and can still think the game at a high level, it’s possible.
  6. My 2cents: It’s not out of the realm of possibility that they might look at it, but obviously would be unlikely. Regardless, negativity breeds negativity. It’s part and parcel of supporting the Vancouver media dumpster fest that occurs on the regular, rather than having at the very least a thoughtful correspondence than trying to generate click bait. I don’t mind critiques personally as long as they have some substance. Otherwise, it’s a waste of time and energy.
  7. Ah I getcha. Not familiar with the saying myself, I read it in another manner. Edit: though to note, saying he’s 30 with 6 years left is a little miss leading. He will be 35 for his last year on the contract. There are plenty of examples of high end dmen continuing to play well through this era of their career.
  8. How is 3 months into being 30 years old the wrong side of 30? Hahaha You also have to consider how the average wage of a decent defender goes up over time making OELs look better. That has already occurred this year with multiple 9m per year contracts being handed out. Until he starts to suck, no sense in spinning OEL in a negative light.
  9. I can't believe we got this beauty for LE and Beagle. Lol!
  10. While I generally agree with this sentiment, the Sedin's were also getting paid for their level of play - and underpaid as the years progressed. EP has signed a contract that demands that he delivers. Fans are now demanding that he delivers. It's pretty simple. I have patience that he'll turn it around, but he will certainly get flack in the meantime while he doesn't.
  11. Nobody is saying we are better without him. However, there is no denying he needs to be better defensively and clearly you aren’t saying it’s not an issue either, so not sure where you are going with this. He doesn’t need to be “the most defensive player in the world”, but he sure as sh*t can’t be as bad as he has been either.
  12. QH continues the trend of giving up one breakaway per game from being pushed off the puck at the offensive blueline. Hoping he figures out that sometimes he shouldn't hold onto the puck when being pressured because these giveaways can't contintue to happen.
  13. I considered myself a fairly big fan of the team and I didn't even know, or even cared to know, whether GMJB had kids. It is hard to believe that this was a targeted attack because of its Canucks association in my opinion. It is possible of course. People did creep on JB at the grocery store.
