A new canadian MMA star in the making.. hopefully! he has his hands full with this match up but his last two performances have been great. War Mullet!! https://www.thestar.com/sports/2020/10/01/albertas-tanner-boser-to-face-former-ufc-heavyweight-champion-andrei-arlovski.html Alberta’s Tanner Boser to face former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski

rumour has it he was tied for 4th in goals this playoffs despite other players having an extra 2 rounds
-
I am just getting up to speed on this rumour, but OEL would be a nice veteran replacement for Eagle and/or Tanev if that time is coming up sooner than later. The guy has been on a crappy poor Phoenix/Arizona team for his whole career he must be salivating at the chance of playoffs and the luxury of a generous owner willing to spend to win

Damn Surrey.... I guess the King was right to be concerned

Joe Biden Debates Donald Trump September 29
Chicken. replied to DonLever's topic in Off-Topic General
I think it came from this; “If you give a climate arsonist four more years in the White House, why would anyone be surprised if we have more of America ablaze? If you give a climate denier four more years in the White House, why would anyone be surprised when more of America is under water?” Biden asked. “Donald Trump’s climate denial may not have caused these fires and record floods and record hurricanes, but if he gets a second term, these hellish events will continue to become more common, more devastating, and more deadly,” the Democrat insisted. “Meanwhile, Donald Trump warns that integration is threatening our suburbs,” Biden said, referring to Trump’s attack on Biden’s plan to federalize local zoning (which poses a serious threat to local control of neighborhoods in the name of racial integration). “It’s ridiculous. But you know what is actually threatening our suburbs?” “Wildfires are burning the suburbs in the West, floods are wiping out suburban neighborhoods in the Midwest, hurricanes are imperiling suburban life along our coast,” Biden said. “If we have four more years of Trump’s climate denial, how many suburbs will be burned from wildfires? How many suburban neighborhoods will have been flooded out? How many suburbs will have been blown away in superstorms?” -

Squamish Sea To Sky Gondola Cable Cut For Second Time
Chicken. replied to DonLever's topic in Off-Topic General
If the alternative is rebuilding the gondola for millions of dollars (2 years in a row now) then the cost-benefit is there.. these vandals seem determined I concede it would be very difficult to patrol the entire wilderness where the gondola is located though I am sure security experts smarter than I could figure it out -

I heard the windows were closed today too - due to smoke Spoke to multiple teachers today that were disappointed school was not cancelled today due to conflicting recommendations

Most likely. 2020 just won't let up. The smoke is being called "highly toxic" .... https://www.newwestrecord.ca/news/smoke-from-westminster-pier-park-fire-called-highly-toxic-1.24202536#:~:text="This smoke is highly toxic%2C so you don’t,windows closed. The pier's creosote-covered pilings are burning. A "devastating fire" is still burning at New Westminster’s award-winning Westminster Pier Park and could be burning for days, according to the local fire department. "This smoke is highly toxic, so you don’t want to be breathing it in,” New Westminster fire chief Tim Armstrong told CTV News so he is advising residents to keep their windows closed. The pier's creosote-covered pilings are burning.

on a $1.25M salary cap hit contract to boot. if the price is right, he's a fine member of the team despites his shortcomings imo unless there is some real cultural/attitude issue we are unaware of and he doesn't mesh in the room
-
It's really indisputable that the healthier you are the better chance you can recover from any disease. There are exceptions of course.
