I think this is viewed as the tried and true method of communication. Is it foolproof? Clearly not. That being said, players and coaches are showing up and doing the interviews, so I would think it's been determined not to have enough of a negative impact that it's affecting the outcome of games. If media ask the same question twice, the interviewee should state that they only answer the question the first time it's asked. -

Was traded on the 10th with no known injuries. Must have tripped on the plane ride down to Florida. -

Was Juolevi injured this season? His mortal sin was having a poor bag skate, which I guess seals one's fate in Green's world. -
Yeah, I'm not really concerned with what fans of other teams think of the Canucks situation. The majority of them cheered for the Bruins in 2011, so they can generally go (expletive deleted) themselves. I think if the game goes sideways, which is a clear possibility, some general booing and mass exodus out of the arena is fair. No one is targeted specifically by a chant and a message of discontent is sent. I do agree that a chant of "Fire _____" is a poor way of showing discontent, as Green is only part of the issue here.

I hear the JB portion of that conversation in Peter Griffin's voice. -

Post of the day. Johnny was feeling neglected. -

Agreed. Waste of a trade. Short-sighted, much like the roster decisions out of training camp. -

Within a game, I can agree. I've both seen it and experienced it. You feel like the floor is giving way and the pressure that your opponent is laying on you feels insurmountable. If it sticks around and finds its way into subsequent games, I feel (and yes this is merely my perception) that there is a deeper issue at hand than mere confidence. -

Yes. All fans can truly comment on with some semblance of certainty is what they're privy to and that's the on-ice performance. It's looked painful considering the personnel on the roster. As well, it's looked familiar to outcomes of the past few seasons. This team, according to many, has core pieces in place that plenty of teams around the league would love to have. Some are playing to their potential, some are playing well below it. One would think though that they could, at least, have a cohesive team game that helps prop up the underperforming portions of the roster. -

No $&!#, Sherlock. So the issue is almost never coaching...why? I think it's an easy generalization to make, but I don't think it holds water. Sometimes, it falls on the players who fail to play well due to a lack of chemistry with linemates, sometimes it's a player losing focus (due to extraneous circumstances), sometimes a coach fails to provide the guidance that the players need from them. Sometimes, players and the coaching staff are given inadequate reinforcements by the general manager. There is something wrong with this team that frankly can't be explained away by simply saying they've lost their focus. The entire team is under the same emotional and mental malaise? -

Yeah. I think everyone knows and understands that these are professional athletes who are capable and talented. It's how inconsistently they're playing and how badly they're being outplayed that's the glaring issue. -

Word on the street is that the outcome of the meetings has been determined. Fin is going to be fed to actual orcas via livestream before the game tomorrow. -

Agreed. I would think Shaw could easily replace what any one of those guys bring. -

Years and years of hockey, of course. It looks as though they've given up though. Did you watch the Colorado and Vegas games? They sure looked like they were nowhere near comprehending how to beat either team. And these were teams without MacKinnon for Colorado and Eichel, Pacioretty, Karlsson for Vegas. Being outplayed has nothing to do with knowing the game. How you're coming to this conclusion is beyond me. -

I'm not so sure that complete silence is the answer either. Maybe drawing questions from a hat for the forseeable future? -

Really? Are we something else? Maybe you can stop the whining for a second and take a deep breath. What mental gymnastics did you perform to take my statement of "I don't believe a word he's saying right now" to mean that Horvat is clearly wanting to lose games and enjoying it? I get it, you're upset, but I really could care less. Bo was giving canned answers to the questions, and I don't buy it. He's saying that they all know what they need to do to win. Do you think that's true? If so, why aren't they doing it? What's preventing that? Have you taken your Ritalin yet? -
